I bought Diablo IV on Steam and installed through Steam on my Steam Deck. The game runs seemingly flawlessly. However, whenever it updates, it takes 20+ minutes. Sometimes it takes over an hour because it’ll restart the process a few times. It appears to be validating every file. Right now, for example, it’s patching 65GB, even though the update was around 6GB. This is the only game on Steam that does this. Anyone know a way to prevent Steam from revalidating everything every time it updates?

This is the first season where it is happening every time for me too. And on my work wifi it takes an age. WTH is going on.
