Hey,
Since nightmare dungeons and infernal hordes will be reworked in the near future I’d like to share a few thoughts about them:
NM:
I like how they reduced the stupid deadends and the amount of pointless box, I mean the gameplay is fine.
Every sigil has two sides: one negative affix and one positive one. The negatives are fine, they are unique. What bothers me that the green part is either gold or xp… Which is kinda uninteresting.
RN NM dungeons have no identity when it comes to rewards, nothing you can get there is the most effective way. My propose would be similar to undercity tributes: each sigil could have different rewards: runes, uniques, mw mats etc. Every drop and reward would be transformed into the one mentioned on the sigil.
IH:
Balance the existing options, soulspires and masses are rly meh.
I’d like to see something roguelikeish here: IH could have a separate leveling system where you can get xp in IH and personalize your own rewards and offerings.
For example you reach lvl 5 with it and you have to choose between permanent offerings: like increased chance to encounter specific offerings like summoned hellbornes, which would affect your future runs.
What do you think, what would you like to see in season 9 and 10 reworks?
PS: I’d commit sudoku if the horadric season won’t ship the cube as permanent feature.

If you make NM like undercity runs… what makes undercity runs stand out then ??
I would like to see NMD also add more “augmentable” tuffness… mob hp, mob damage, increased rare mob packs, also rewards like more obosite, more shrines, higher chances at goblins…
Undercity could add a endless feature. Go till time zeros out, every floor offers higher rewards, but mob hp X2… to slow down the timer and cause a tap out point, because currently most builds trival the timer…
IH need to add zone effects l, like the floor is lava. Better non combat pickup, a semi vote system for progression path and not just first click. Maybe a RNG wave of goblin packs galore could spawn on random chance ?? Also a complexity to boss end fight, like needing to kill all 3 shamans at the same time or they rez eachother
Or just add cows in any of these things… cause moooooo

Pretty much anything is better than the current NM reward system, anything you can get there, could get more if you’d play different content.
I would like to see elite mobs actually drop items again.
Since all of the complaints that there was too much loot in a looter game, it’s incredibly rare to get loot from an actual monster. I have to fight a dungeon boss or open a treasure chest to get anything. It’s stupid.
EDIT: I mean equippable gear, specifically.

or for IH make it each wave is split to 3 choices always…
using the Hellborne system where mobs pop out of the spawn points and run towards players…
1 choice is Melee Hellborne
1 choice is Ranged Hellborne
1 choice is Spell Hellborne
when you pick a choice you get that spawning in for the triggered mob after 30 kills
so lets say you pick melee a second time you get 2 melee Hellborne BUT they have X2 HP X2 Damage and reward X1.25 more Aether … so if you KEEP choosing melee Hellborne they will be to STRONG to do 10 straight choices, but the rewards for those who choose to stick to a single mob would be worthwhile
you would have to pick strategically witch ones you want to add to the pool every wave, having more impact… a low resistance party of heros would avoid the spell ones, a low armor party of heros would avoid the melee, and a party without CC would avoid ranged…
after every repeat Hellborne selected wave (mage, melee, ranged) you could do a bonus spawn of “aether Lords” if they choose melee a second time, a Melee Aether lord spawns if you had doubled down on melee for choice… (need to augment these also so the fight is meaningful and party wipe cause-able
dunno… this idea just popped in my head… maybe it sounds cool ???
You want too much from that team :/)
i want a lot… my ideas pour out… hopefully they inspire something cool…
my biggest dream is to be on a dev team …
and here i am giving away all my ideas for free on forums…
I have no hope for that, but wish you and all players luck so devs can actually check your ideas and add content

Well the changes are coming, it’s on the roadmap, so I guess this is the best time to provide feedback.
