For Season 5, I would like to suggest to the devs to nerf the drop rate for Uniques. They seem way too common for end-game chase items. For Mythic Uniques especially, they should drop equivalent to a “Jah Rune” in D2.
I may be the most unluck player of the world, cause i didnt get so many mithical uniques like everyone claim…
People need to understand this game is season basead, and shouldnt be almost impossible to drop uniques like “zod” rune…
I also would like Mythic Uniques returned to the Season 1 droprate.
I’ve spent all my mats and stygian stones doing tormented bosses and also haven’t found a single mythic. At this point I think it will be faster to just make new chars to grind out the iron wolves rep on.

Uniques aren’t meant to be rare. Some builds just do not function without them, like at all.
Mythic Uniques are rare, very rare. I’ve lost count of how many 100s i’ve had over the seasons, i’m working on my 5th one this season, and i’ve still not seen a single Mythic Unique drop.
I do have a Shako, but I made that myself with the only 4 sparks i’ve gotten.
If you’re getting lots of them, then you’re likely farming Uber Bosses endlessly.
You can spend all day farming Uber Bosses and only get 1-2 Mythic Uniques, they’re not that common.
The devs have already said, they wanted every build to be wearing 2-4 uniques, and they want uniques to be build-defining.
So uniques need to drop and they need to drop regularly.
Mystic uniques are a whole different matter. But uniques need to be common.
its bad enough uniques suck compared to master worked/temper gears. Many people have uniques sitting in banks

Uniques and mythics are no longer the chase items. 2, 3 and 4 GA uniques are the new chase items. So to get those you’ll need them to drop more often.
If you’re speaking about Mythic Uniques: In the “World” they basically do have “Jah+ Rarity” which is a VAST improvement over the nonsense of how they were initially weighted.
As for Duriel and Tormented Bosses - that’s a different story and target farming was put in for a reason.
As for “Regular” Uniques? Jah rarity?

They’re literally hard coded to be part of the builds and need to be somewhat attainable.
Still not super common in “The World” - possibly too plentiful via Bosses but again that’s Blizz’s decision and how they designed Characters, Skills and Builds.
They need to be accessible - by design.
How can they be a chase item when they are all garbage? Rarity should be based on power. And there not a single unique powerful enough to warrant much more rarity than a legendary.
Mythic uniques are indeed rare. Found one after four seasons of play.
Uniques can’t be rare as they change the basic function of classes and are starting points for many builds. Unfortunately, they all need some serious upgrades to compete with the tempering system which renders many not worth pursuing.
Uniques also need a better dedicated drop system. Sounds like they are adding this to some degree in season 5 with helltide chests and whisper trees boxes being dedicated sources.
I agree they’re not all that rare and special feeling anymore but they’ll never make them rare/chase items ever again. Players would riot and complain.
The chase items now are 2GA/3GA items and masterworking your gear with 3x crits/boost on a single affix. Although, even that is potentially being simplified by the new S5 activity, guaranteeing an item with 1GA minimum.

The developers want to steer away from Uniques that are generally good (like [![Tibault’s Will] and would prefer Unique items to fit a certain theme. Currently, if a Unique item includes an Affix that doesn’t usually appear in that slot, the developers have stated that they will limit the benefits of the other Affixes on that item to make it more equal to other options.
And that’s what sucks about it as you no longer chase for the items, but their values, when values should be optional - but it is what it is.
Considering I so far dropped 1 UU after ± 300 runs not a fan
How many characters do I need to run through the season to make a shako? My luck is terrible so I may explore that as an option.
I personally want blizz to remove the material cost of bosses and just put them at the end of a dungeon and let us fight 'em indefinitely just like in D2.
I spent all my mats fighting tormented bosses and got nothing. It doesn’t make me want to farm up mats for another shot - it makes me want to just give up and stop trying.
