…should only apply to Sorcs predominantly using Pyromancy skills. (then non-fire skills should be buffed up to compensate of course)
I’m so tired of playing Cold or Lightning builds but having to make sure I’m “burning” enemies with… yeah… my COLD or LIGHTNING attacks. That means using a Flamefeeder glyph, and most “limitingly” and importantly, using up one of my sorc’s only TWO enchantment slots.
It’s just so flipping boring. I should be using a lightning skill enchantment that does something interesting for my lightning skills, not using a fire skill that just makes sure you’re burning everything you touch in order to use a non-lightning glyph.
I’m convinced these devs don’t actually seriously play this class.

Except no enchantments rly do anything but FireBolt and Iceblades the others are literally minor lucky hit chance to cast the same skill again so this whole enchantment CLASS SYSTEM which is supposed to be huge part of actually playing Sorc needs to get rework,
Its not rly Flamefeeder only Devouring Blaze is one of the best multipliers on Sorc as well

For real though. There should be viable builds for every individual element, all three elements and any combination thereof. They just lack imagination and forced every class into this skill twig. They made exceptions for some classes, like extra equipment slots for Barbs, and there’s not really a good reason for that. Then you have classes like rogue that are really like two or three class concepts smashed into one skill twig. Never played Druid, but that kind of seems that way too at a glance, could be wrong. Necromancer is that way also, it has no real focus and tries to throw in some blood crap with some shadow crap and a little bit of bone crap. Nothing is fleshed out to a complete concept, every build is some patchwork of the most exploitable stuff on the tree. Maybe the problem is that there isn’t enough exploitable stuff on the trees.

The enchantment is more for keeping up the Tal Rasha Buff, Flamefeeder just happens to gain additional benefits as does the elementalist glyph. The game essentially forces sorcs to play all the elements in order to be the most powerful rather than going heavy into one. It’s really just a class design issue.

This is the exact reason why I don’t play sorc. Because you just can’t build a pure pyromancer/cryomancer build. Dedicated to one element. Frost nova that burns enemies to the bone? I don’t get it.

You can go all in for one element but you leave way too many damage multipliers off the table. Fire sorcs using ice blades for example to proc big multipliers. None of it really makes sense. If Sorc had the original 3 enchantments things might be more interesting, but we would all still take firebolt anyway for the utility. Plus you have to spec into basic skills either way even though we never use them.
Yup class design issues everywhere.
