Currently unable to play due to server lag. True FPS is around 140 and network is 1.5GB. Able to run all other titles with zero issues in a library of around 1000 games. Diablo 4 server-side lag is so bad that the game plays as if I am getting around 10 FPS.

Right there with you. Unplayable in this current state. Every time I log in, there’s about a 90% chance I’ll lag so badly I just stop playing. Network is fine on all other games and throughout the house.

Also having massive issues it’s driving me crazy seeing 1700+msec latency when you press ctrl+r in game twice it will display I’ve seen as high as 3200msec.. it’s been like this for days now it’s ruining the game for me

You can’t beat it, long day at work and just want to chill and play some diablo. I’m hit with piss poor lag on pc or console and this is SOLO play btw. I’ve been unable to play for 4 days now rubber banding back and forth and this is becoming a joke, do blizz just not give a toss about their player base?

So I’ve tried using my phone to hotspot using 5G and playing on my steam deck and this seems to resolve any issues with lag bar the obvious slight increase in ping due to using 5G which leads me to believe this is either an issue with my home network (which I doubt because I usually play wired) or Virgin Media
I’ve found what I think is a temporary fix at least for me, it seems the issue is indeed with my ISP (Virgin Media), what has seemed to work is using a VPN and using a server in Netherlands when playing Diablo and I haven’t had any issues since. I paid £1 for a month of ProtonVPN but I guess other VPNs will work fine, hopefully this can somewhat help others to play with a more stable latency

This is that always online BS they need to fix. I know a good chunk of people that would buy this game if it was offline or had an offline mode. Diablo 2R has it, D3 has it ( on console ) I don’t understand this always online BS. I don’t care about respawning enemies. deleted them when I kill them, I don’t need server bot mobs respawning. This game is a mess online. lags like crazy.
VPN worked for me. I can connect through UK server and works fine but Virgin media connection lagging very bad thanks for this post
