First two weeks were absolutely fine. This entire week I log in to log off pissed off moments later. Cant do anything in game at all. Rubber-banding everywhere. Can hardly make my way to a dungeon and once I do I’m dead and none of my attacks work while I’m slamming the keys on the keyboard.
I have Fiber (pushing over a gig in DL), running wired ethernet, nobody else is home or connected to my network, cross play is disabled, all graphics settings on the lowest possible settings. No other game on my machine has any issue at all. It’s getting worse every day.
edit: has anyone tried reinstalling the game since the ddos attack to see if anything changes? do we lose characters if we uninstall? im scared lol

Right there with you. I have uninstalled and requested a refund at this point. Blizzard won’t see another dime from me if they don’t fix this. I have tried every single fix on every thread I can find on here to the point that Blizzard should be paying me to test this game.

Same issue all day long. I’ve lost 2 NM keys to lagging out and getting disconnected. Everything else is running fine on my internet. Just this game is failing to properly connect.

Sadly I tried to refund and Blizzard wont budge… its a farce because the support keep copying and pasting the same text of “no refund because you used more than 2 hours”

I had severe latency issue since 3 days ago, been trying to log in to play but I leave in 10 minutes because its unbearable

Glad I am not the only one. Was fine forever and then after that DDOS attack its been trash. Rubber banding all over…
And its all blizzard games but only blizzard games. Everything else is working fine.

I don’t know. An almost constant ping of 1500+ ms seems perfectly fine to me. Higher is better, right?
I kid. I’m having the same problem. The game is completely unplayable. It seems to get worse the longer I play until I eventually disconnect. And then I can’t login again because I get the fun “your account is currently locked” error code (395002).
When I can eventually get in again, the high latency and rubberbanding return within minutes until I disconnect again. I think I had a better experience when the servers were under a DDoS attack.

I’m in the same boat. Lag spikes to 1200ms then down to 500 then back up again. This is ridiculous. I honestly don’t care what they say about refunds, if they don’t fix this and fix it quick, I’m getting ALL my money back. It’s been like this for weeks now.
Just know, they can’t keep you from getting your money back, there are ways around it and that BS response they give about already playing too much is just a scare tactic, trust me.

Not to mention 32GB Ram + RTX 4090… SMH…
Maybe POE ddosing you guys ??? How about buy some real security ??? You can afford it with the billions you guys made of us from Diablo + WoW.

Just wish they’d, you know, fix the horrendous loading between instances.
Serious, Blizzard, if you’re not going to give us a goddam offline version and you’re not going to be bothered to fix your horrendous lag just moving between zones, at least take the groups of mobs that slaughter me while I’m waiting for other players to load in out from the zone lines
Note: It’s not our rigs that is lagging. Stop listening to the idiots who say ‘git better internet Lol!’ It’s 100% Blizzard’s servers just can’t handle it. No other non-blizzard online game I play lags this badly just walking around the map.

same here, from 300 to 900 ms lag… can’t play this way… I’m tired of this
Could be another DDoS attack again.
I started having problems with lag yesterday… and they’ve continued into today… a typical ping time (displayed in-game) is around 60ms - 80ms. However earlier today when I went to clear a cellar it hit. About 2s into the fight… and everything stopped… I looked at the screen and saw 1870ms, 981ms, 1105ms, 790ms… In a solo instance with NOTHING but a few monsters and me and I’m getting an extra 700-1800ms of lag? How? How in the burning hells is that possible?
Oh… and since I’m playing WT3 in HC you know I was sweating bullets until everything caught up and all the monsters went boom from my frost nova and shards. I managed to clear the cellar but the lag stayed over 650ms until I ported back to town. Then, after a few seconds, it dropped back to 70ms.

The post bellow this one addressed my high latency I’ve been having all day. Disable the “browser hardware acceleration” in the BNet App under the settings/advance features. Was around 200 to 700 all day and once I turned that off been steady at around 80.
