Uniques and Runes will not drop for me. I cannot get mythics this season. I cannot craft them because epic runes i need will not drop. No I will not risk my account on some buggy half-as$ made trade site. The game is broke and bad and blizzard should feel bad about it.
They adjusted the drop rates based on the trading. Legendaries rain from the sky in D3. Thatās because you canāt really trade in D3. To compensate, they have raised the drop rate so players can find any gear they need in reasonable time by themselves. To be fair, for a game where people can trade items in, I think D4 item drop rate is still on the very high side at least compared to games like D2.
If you arenāt willing to trade in D4, then thereās not much you can do other than play the game hard mode, which some players still enjoy and welcome it as an extra challenge.
If you donāt want to āriskā your account, I respect your decision and itās totally up to you. At least see if you can just use the in game trade chat then or just keep playing SSF.
Well if youāre not willing to trade donāt complain about not getting the items you want. Thatās how it goes in every MMOARPG. Thereās a reason SSF, ironman, etc are specific challenge modes in online games. Hint: itās because it makes the game harder
Convert runes. Do Undercity rune runs. Convert tiny runes into bigger runes. Convert bigger runes you dont need into runes you need. Try your luck. All it takes is HAPPILY playing the game
And we are all happy while playing DIV⦠arent we?
Yep
No loot for you , no matter how much you grind , trading is weak sauce , everything should be bop.
Working as intended.
Their 3rd party partner spamming T4 trade chat with a lvl 2 sorc can help with that.
This isnāt an MMOARPG no matter how much the management team would like it to be. Trade chats are limited to your current shard (12 people,) nothing in the game allows or needs grouping of more than 4, and anything else is done solely by adhoc proximity grouping.
The game does not in any way have the infrastructure for good trading so acting like it should be a requirement is nonsense.
Calling this an MMO is like calling Overwatch or LOL or an average FPS with multiplayer an MMO just because a lot of people are online at once - you are still severely limited with how many people you can interact with at all times.
Morever,
So what if it was true? That doesnāt mean it has to be true. People really need to stop equating common elements with ironclad requirements. Itās exactly when developers buck those trends that we actually see interesting evolution in games.
The weighting in the game seems to be the same for drops, enchanting or crafting.
Crafting one of the Legendary Runes everybody is trying to get is just as hard as having it drop from in game activities. The stacks of BAC, EOM, JAH Runes in my stash are the smallest ones: 1 BAC and 2 EOM and JAH. For sure, I wonāt be crafting a Shroud or a Perdition this season.
So then PoE is not an MMOARPG? Last Epoch is not an MMOARPG? What is an MMOARPG in your opinion? I challenge you to name one, just one game you consider an MMORPG given this statement.
Itās true because you canāt possibly balance the game around trading and not trading at the same time. Either extremely rare loot exists and is encouraged to be traded, or no loot is rare and anyone can get their highly specific items easily. You canāt do both at the same time.
Again, this is why SSF and ironman are CHALLENGE categories
Runes donāt really drop anymore. Iām up to 236 Paragon with about 750 boss kills on T4 and have only had about 1 of each drop. You can also craft a random mythic with 2 runes. I did this and got lucky, got the shroud. Like another person said you can combine unwanted runes to make a new rune and that is another spot to get runes. All that said realistically if you want to craft a rune using mythics you probably have to do trading. You can use the in game trade chat channel to ask if anyone is trading what you want. If often doesnāt work, but sometimes someone is online and will trade you what you need.
Yep. Which is why some of us have been asking for a SSF mode with adjusted drop rates. Not that itās ever going to happen
If they are going to modify the game because people trade, they should make an in game auction house to facilitate trading so you donāt have to invite someone to your party and waste 15 minutes to do a transaction.
This is probably the only reason Iād support an auction house. If THEY are changing drops rates based on how things are traded, then an AH makes sense. They would still botch it up, but it would be something.
But an AH is not going to help this game out. Not until they change the leadership team.
I
If by āharderā you mean actually having to play it to succeed then yeah, harder.
Diablo franchise was never to be this.
They botched season 8 with the limiting rune drops and ancestral drops. Definitely trending down
We should be able to craft our own runes, not be a randomā¦to get a legendary should be like 20 of a yellow or something. Just a food for thought.
I feel the same way about master working
Well I didnt have to trade in any of the other seasons but this one was awful loot and boring. S9 will be the same just with capped everything. The good news is that some really like it so it was not for nothing.
People who are trading are playing it too, weāre just not constantly complaining about drop rates because shocker we can trade things we wonāt use for things we will.
My point with that statement was that dude literally disqualified all MMOARPGs by saying D4 isnāt one due to XYZ. Every single online ARPG I know of has
- 4 party limit
- instanced areas
Find me a single MMOARPG without any of that
