For some reason as of late I keep getting a unique barb axe that will drop. It has dropped 3 times in 2 days of very casual playing. The problem is I’m on my druid and don’t play barb. Is this supposed to even happen?
The loot tables for druid are broken.
Druids CAN equip those barb weapons, because they CAN do that, it messes up the other drop chances for other druid-items.
You and all other druids here reading that will also MAGICALLY happen to drop lots of the druid ring, bear chest & head, wolf chest… but they will basically never find stuff like the storm head, wolf legs, stealth axe etc.
So just because we can technically equip an item makes it so it will drop? Even though the skills for it are for other classes??? This should have been a day 1 fix.
This doesn’t sound quite right, I’m getting 2h weapons for barbs and necro stuff and sorc stuff even though I’m on a rogue. It’s pretty rare, but still happens.
Are they uniques though? I play druid and I see rare items for other classes like bows and scythes fairly regularly and I don’t really mind those, but I’ve also found several unique barbarian weapons, even got one as a reward for finishing a nightmare dungeon. I’m pretty sure I’ve found both Overkill and Ancient’s Oath 2-3 times but I’ve yet to find any of the unique druid weapons.

They are actually uniques. I have found Ancient’s Oath 3 times which gives 2 additional chains to steel grasp.

Yes, that is true.
You will also happen to find mage uniques that buff cold-damage/chill effects etc eventho druids don’t have a single source of cold damage or interaction with freeze.
I was hoping to farm dungeons and helltides on my necro in hope to drop Tempest Roar for my druid alt. I guess it’s impossible to drop storm helmet on another class since it’s specifically restricted to druid? Without it and pulverize build it’s bit atrocious to play a druid.
I was originally under the assumption that only uniques for your class would drop. But, since I’m finding Barb gear who knows. I don’t know if that is just a bug or on purpose.
It was already said that barb drops with druid is a bug. You can also equip barb unique items atm.
Oh yeah I can certainly equip them but obviously their skills offer no benefit.
