This idea came to me when I was watching the anime “Shangri-La Frontier”. There, unique monsters are very rare, have incredibly high and unique rewards, and they are also incredibly strong. Since there are a large number of unique monsters in Diablo 4, I suggest making them as strong and resilient as bosses in pit 100-110, as well as with unique combat mechanics and a special reward that drops from them, for example, a rare item that has two affixes, but they are 2-3 times larger than in ancestral legendary items + a chance to drop a mythical unique. This topic with unique monsters can be developed in many directions and I think that this would be a good part of the endgame that Diablo 4 players need so much.
You just have to look at the Peeh Ohh Ehh bosses. Like the bell boss. Or the big endboss.

Great idea, but it won’t happen. Blizzard is too focused on adding temporary content which they will throw away like the seasonal witch-tide and powers, rather than anything of substance that actually makes the game better in the long run.
I agree, but I posted my suggestion because I want Diablo 4 to evolve and offer a lot of different content, and I hope that my post will be useful to the developers)
I would like to see more effort for larger themed seasons to expand the zones in D4 in some way, like S2 vamps could have added a new Zone to the map and new NMD old vampire lair castle’s or whatever, and that is where lord Zir could live.
Idk i got this thought doing a Quest that takes you to a Dungeon in the far corner of the fractured peaks and has one of those rare Look points, and you get this great view of a massive castle, was very cool and would love to see them tap into this more. You know be the game it was advertised, not this line in the sand, arpg take must be like d3 nonsense and in the same note go look at poe2
I like your idea, and there is the bones of what could be soemthing similar with rare spawn monsters, that appear in the open world, they could do more with it i guess, there is foundational idea’s there that could be polished into something.
Idk if you’ve noticed but Diablo IV has all but moved away from Monster Drops. Everything is Loot Boxes now.
