I’ve never, gone through this with a game. I log into my permanent realm character, see there’s a torment system now, says I need to finish the base campaign to unlock it. Okay, I already did it before VoH. Try looking up how to unlock torment 4, all says the same thing, gotta finish the base campaign. Okay…so what now what? I’m being forced to redo what I already hated having to do the first time to be able to play the actual game so my time can be farmed for engagement metrics so the companies next quarterly report looks better to investors? Then I spend over an hour trying to figure out how the hell to even do that cos my campaign section in my quest log is greyed out and all I have is an echo of hatred quest with no indication of where to go and the dungeon I supposedly have to go to is blocked off. Everything I find in search results is 20+ minute videos for the DLC specifically which I’m not buying or season which I’m not playing. Never seen anything like this, I could’ve spent the time starting any game I’ve never played before and made some amount of progress before having to look anything up and at least eventually found an answer by now. Never seen anything like it, lost all interest and uninstalled, I’ll play that new PoE game when it comes out.

you clearly didn’t receive the memo.
I know what you feeling but problem with this crap is that there is nothing better solution than D4 out there. So I play until release PoE2.
You don’t have to finish campaign, you just need to play in penitent and hit level 60 so you are able to do pits
The you can just do pits to unlock all torment levels
20 T1
35 T2
50 T3
65 T4
I’m already in T4 and didn’t even come close to finish the voh campaign i just did enough to go from 50 to 60 and that’s it, i don’t give any f whatsoever to the campaign tbh. Just hit level 60, go to Cerrigar and you can push pits and unlock torment levels and endgame stuff
