Wasted a legendary tribute on 3rd floor because there was no exit.

There’s always an exit. Sometimes the last floor portal doesn’t appear until you’re close enough to detect it. I have no idea if that’s sloppy coding or intentional (because i haven’t tried to determine if there’s a consistent factor).

I killed every enemy and went though the entire map 2x. No way out. It’s like the exit didn’t spawn in, like what used to happen when some of the old NMD’s had kill all enemy objectives and one would not spawn in.

Same broken code just in a new place.

Had that happen in the pit a few times…killed everything to max out and never spawned the portal…now if you are getting close to the max, it will auto finish and give you the portal

Last thing I remember, I was running for the door
I had to find the passage back to the place I was before

You can check out any time you like, but you can never leave”

Recently I played all the way to the end and there was no boss in the final area.

Press E and choose Leave the dungeon.

What you talking about ? You can back the PIT using your portal…

If you kill the Snake boss the game doesn’t count as a clear run and you can’t leave with “Leave dungeon” only with teleport.

I’ve made 2 threads and nothing. Blizzard just doesn’t give a FF about it.

so don´t play with your inventory full so far.

I encountered it once, I think it is display bug. The portal not appear on map, but after I run around the dungeon I found the exit.

I get a chuckle from all the naive posts “You just need to…” as if the player is the problem and not this bug fest of a game.

In the last two days I’ve had:

  1. Subo stop functioning in the Pits (randomly)
  2. Multiple dungeons unable to be completed because the elite/mini-boss that’s supposed to drop a key never appeared
  3. I had to kill Maffer the Cruel over 10 times in Torment III before the game finally registered the kill for the season achievement.

I reported all of them as bugs but we all know none of them will get fixed. There are bugs from S0 that are still lingering in the code (the PvE player kill bug, for instance)

Instead of pushing out mediocre seasons every 60-90 days the team needs to skip a season and focus on fixing bugs. But they won’t because they can’t sell battle passes and seasonally themed skins for that.

Yes you can leave but i have had it where the boss portal never spawned even after clearing both levels of the pit. Its annoying but good news is you dont waste a tribute on a pit.

The entire game is copy/paste. The reason bugs keep coming back is they use the “old” code not the patched code for seasons. If they would go back into the code (original from Day 1) and spend like 6 months just fixing that and then send a massive update out, we would have the seasons start without going 2 weeks till they “patch” the old code.

Was there throughout s7 … about 2-3% of maps no advance from third floor despite combing the map. Not a good look.

Season of the Bugs. The NPC guiding you through the season journey is some little old lady with a broom named ‘The Exterminator’. She is on a mission to find bugs and squash them.

Oh, the seasonal boss could be all the bugs in D4 combined. You cant kill him because there are… bugs… that prevent it.
