Hey folks,
Hoping someone can point me in the right direction, I’ve looked around but I can’t find a solve for this anywhere.
I just got Diablo 4 a couple weeks ago, I played Blizzard ages ago, but I made a brand new Battlenet account.
My issue is that when I’m in game I cannot send a whisper to anyone other than people on my friends list. People can send me whispers in the /Trade chat, but when I reply to their whisper I get the message “Unable to deliver the whisper to [their name]”.
Or if someone in /Trade posts a message and I attempt to message them directly I get the same “Unable to deliver the whisper to [name]” as well.
At first I thought it was some people’s individual settings but it appears to be literally everyone I try and interact with. I haven’t used any foul language or obscenities, so I can’t understand why I can message in channels but I’m somehow blocked from whispering other players.
I’ve relogged multiple times, I’m on PC, my connection settings allow cross-play. I would be extremely grateful if someone could help me out, the tickets I’ve submitted to Blizzard haven’t helped at all.
