Unable to complete Fractured Peaks Area, 34/35 Side Quests and im blocked out from the last

Thank you! I was looking everywhere for this and no guide I found said it was only in Pallid Glade. The second herb I found in Pallid Glade had the frostbloom I was missing for 35/35.

Same here. I have completed “Blood Sermon”, “Frostbloom” as well as all of those hideous side quests that rely on a random mob drop. Noticed this was going to be a problem during the betas so I made a list of all quests which I got and completed. Because, you know, there’s no “Completed Quests” section built in the journal UI…

Made sure to do all side quests as soon as they became available after each main story mission. Naturally, that involved exploring all nooks and crannies of each zone over and over and over again. Of course that included killing mobs above ground along the way as well as doing all of the dungeons to ensure I was going to get the items that trigger specific side quests.

When comparing my list with all the guides and maps online it seems like I’ve done everything. Still, I’m at 34/35 for Fractured Peaks, 46/47 for Scosglen, 37/38 for Dry Steppes and 44/49 for Hawezar.

If this is a problem with the counters skipping from time to time, not counting some quests that players have actually completed, then it is a big one because, aside from the lack of a “Completed Quests” tracker, there’s also no mechanism for players to restart specific quests if, say, a patch is rolled out to fix said problem. And I sure as hell am not going to level up again from 1 to 100 as a workaround.

And yes, I’m a completionist. To me these things matter. Call it OCD if you must. I want to do everything the game has to offer at least once on my main character. Not all side quests on one character, then all dungeons on another and the whole campaign on a third character because there were bugs during the first 2 months after launch.

EVERYTHING.
ON ONE CHARACTER.

Im also stuck at 34/35 quests, problem is ive no idea what quests ive done. So annoying, why blizzard didn’t add the ability to see what quests you’ve completed is beyond me

Update: I have had created another char and tracked all quests external on a map.

I have done:

  • Frostbloom
  • Blood Sermon - she was moving to tribe camp between the questline. Quest was finished in tribe camp

—> Phasing at Kor Valar doesn’t trigger. Quests are all done but Kor Valar and the dungeon is still not morphed. Now she stands at Kor Valar again (where you get initial quest Bllod Sermon) and can‘t interact with here. I think it is not a missing quest bug, it is a phasing is not triggered after quest bug. repredoucable on my account with 2nd char.

Can we pls have a patch to fix this instead of all the nerfs,i hate being at 34/35 quests complete

Also sitting at 34/35. I’m almost certain it’s Blood Sermon as I don’t recall ever going into the Sanguine Chapel with the vampires and what not. Can’t find the NPC anywhere, in either of the two supposed locations. Campaign is already done, so assuming it’s bugged.

Can’t really confirm of course because Blizzard decided not to include a completed quests section of the journal.

Ok I recant my statement. After some soul searching, and by that I mean mindless looting of corpses, rocks, herbs, and enemies, I finally found that I was indeed missing the Icebound Geode quest. Apparently I just have bad memory.

Still wish they had a complete quest section in the Journal though. It would save a lot of frustration.

Outside of those players who picked up the quest and it just bugged out (can’t go in dungeon, pick up the quest item, or turn in the quest), if you simply can’t find the NPC to even start the quest, then you probably already did it and are missing a random drop quest. Just find a list of those quests in Fractured Peaks and go down the line I guess.

I feel you! I’m the same and I’ve looked all day for that last quest and no go !

This is really frustrating to not have a decent quest tracker in D4.
This is a must !

idea for a work-around.
Get a friend to make a fresh character and go through the campaign until they get to sister vera where she is giving “Bear Tribe Refuge” quest. Have them invite you to their world and then accept and join them.

I’m still having this issue - is it a confirmed bug or something? Anyone find a solution yet?
