Umbracrux totem counts as enemy left

some nightmare dungeons cannot be done cause they count totem from umbracruxx dagger as an enemy needed to “kill all enemies objectives”

peak design right there blizzard. give me back my time and 5 nmd keys

I have to believe it’s a bug. Not that issue for me, but, it’s definitely attacked by iron wolves and other players pets too. Has to be wrongly designed surely.

that totem is leeching all the lightning spears and spawned frozen orbs!

the last thing i want to see during co-op play is that once the totem is thrown out, up to 25% of the team’s dps is nullified if there’s one sorc on the team, and 50% of the dps is gone if there are two sorcs. :joy:

ye this totem is double - edged sword cause it may be good on static fight like stacking dps on uber boss or helltide shrine

but you can allso do exploity things with it :smiley:
i like this totem for now as it is

only frustrated cause it sometimes count in NMD as enemy xD
especially when you cast it once (game register it as enemy) and than i recast another one and it bugging dungeon

One thing i still like to do sometimes ist to throw the totem into the middle of the maiden drops. People want to pick up loot but instead they attack the totem :laughing:

but wouldn’t this totem got expiration time? shouldn’t permanently existed there and bugged the NMD with directive to clear all enemy right?

previously i met a bug where an enemy got spawned behind the infernal hordes council room door at last wave, but luckily lightning spear is able to roam across closed rooms to search for target.

Speaking of totem, I had a funny experience recently. I was at a world boss fight, and after the boss was dead, I kept placing a totem for a good three minutes. What cracked me up was that a few players stuck around and kept attacking my totem. I couldn’t tell if they were just bored or if they were bots! :rofl:

The way totem is implemented is def a problem, it shouldn’t be damageable by allies. That fixes 99% of problems the totem has.

Its a bug for sure.
Its supposed to be stroked by anyone because it replicate the damage it takes but should not count as an enemy.

but this is the main purpose of the totem. Replicate the damage it takes.

If you activate a greed shrine just shoot at the totem. Plenty money :money_mouth_face:

Of your allies? Nah. That’s just an oversight. Why would you want to ever soak up your allied damage and echo a fraction of it back out? The only case where this doesn’t outright suck is if you’re trying to turn your allied single target damage into emergency AoE damage…which is still bad because the only build that runs Umbracrux is Barrage and Barrage poops on massed creeps.

It’s meant for the Rouge to proc their crit and lucky hit based passives/aspects/uniques. It just would be dumb it it didn’t do something beneficial when soaking up your own damage so they gave it some echo damage which has already been toned down.
