I was at 70% the other day, logged on today and all my Sorcs are stuck at 69.9% resist. Is this the new cap? They’re all green as if they’re capped. Kind of confused…

Could be something you changed. Intelligence gives resistance

I have the same thing going on with my Sorcerer. Not sure what’s going on or if it’s a bug or not.
What could you change that would lower your Resistance Cap by 0.1%?
pretty much just small changes to intelligence.

How does that change the max resistance cap to a lower number? The Resistances are clearly marked in green, they are capped.

Seems easier than expecting a game from a AAA gaming company to work correctly.
just because they are green doesnt mean they are full cap. that being said, 0.1% difference can be considered “capped”

Chalk it up to a bug and make a post on the bug forums. Just looks like a display glitch is all, may have come about from having an elixir on that increased your resistances, then you logged off, and somehow it glitched the system into capping you at 69.9% when you logged back on. Or rather displaying that you have 69.9% as the new cap instead of the 70% cap.

Highlighting my individual resistances, it shows that I have extra over cap. It’s not a result of how much I have.

When I check my resistances I am over capped yet still at 69.9%. Its nothing I did.
Math is hard.
Reminds me of that old calculator bug that could not get the correct answer for a simple multiplication problem, or maybe it was division? but it was something like 2*2 = 3.99999.
Yea just an odd glitch, seems like it fixes itself eventually. It’s probably low on the priority list of bug fixes, but as long as it’s in the bug forum they’ll see it. I’ll have to see if it applies to my necro, as I typically never check my stats when I login.

It only happened to my Sorcerer. I wonder if that’s the same with everyone else.

Yea I read through the bug report you posted, was hoping they would’ve said what class. It may be specific only to Sorc, but I’ll keep checking my necro every time I login just in case.

Yeah, having received this issue. Tried to re-log and did not get fixed.
It SEEMS like, when i restarted the whole battle.net client it went back to 70.
Those shifty demons trying to eat away my resists!
