Just like last season it feels super unfair when some players get 5 uber uniques within a 4x rota run, meanwhile myself and others do 100+ runs and get nothing at all.
Some sort of a method or pity timer would feel more in place

Rng is rng. The drop rates are so high the pitty system already exists in the spark rep grind.
Yes some seasons you may have bad luck but we are I week into the season.
Also are you doing normal or tormented runs?

I’m convinced accounts are seeded with luck at account creation like in the old days. Same people are lucky every season. Same me never see a drop no matter how many kills.

No offense but you have a horse shoe and see Ubers every season like candy. You don’t know what it’s like to be someone like me that grinds their rear off and never sees one.

Not necessarily true. S2 it took 120 runs to get my first one and it was andy. S3 it took 70 before i saw my first one. Tbf i was the most unlucky this season with the ppl I play with.

(I did have the RNG gods favor me in S4 for sure)

Just think of all the self-imposed SSF players like myself. I have to gather all my own mats and make all my own runs - compared to others doing hundreds of runs in group-easy-mode. A lot of whom now have several Mythicals and then some. Some having so many that if the Mythical dose not have a GA it’s trash.
It’s all numbers. They get 1000[ x] more chances at a Mythical drop over what I get… but it is my choice in the end to play the way I do. I (personally) feel SSF is more rewarding of a play style.

I don’t have enough mats right now to join any rotations. How many is good?
I like to have at least enough for 5 tormented runs, not too difficult if you’re doing Helltide, and Whispers consistenty. That gives you 25 runs which is decent odds for an mythic.

Whatever, honestly we have just been pooling mats and doing ih inbetween. Im buying a house so i havnt been on mich but I dont mind helping ppl nor the group I play with.

Even just regular uniques. Im Currently a lvl 98 sorcerer trying to play chain lightning and i havent Found a single axial conduit. Not 1. Ive farmed hell tides/living steel and have exhausted that steel over and over again. So, i thought ill run fireball until i do… well, Ive also not found a single ancestral glove or staff of fireballs in WT IV. But i got like 7 charged bolts staffs

It’s all RNG and luck. Since S0 to S4, I had 0 Ubers. I’m unlucky and I have probably logged more hours than the normal D4 population from S0 to S3, even got ridiculed at a point.
Now in S5, my luck has been good so far. Running solo. Probably 30+ Tormented Bosses and got about 9 Ubers now

Everyone has the same opportunity and drop chance so I don’t think “unfair” is the appropriate term.
I started off this season with some good luck and got 3 in less than 20 runs but I e done about 30 more after those and got nothing. It certainly feels bad when they don’t drop for you. Not sure how to fix that. Perhaps adding sparks to the loot pool with a slightly higher drop rate so you know eventually you might get 4 faster than an actual mythic.

I’m not sure about a Pity Timer, but it does suck. I can’t say much cause I did FAR MORE THEN YOU and I got Nothing out of it.
If anything I’m just glad you can re summon within the dungeon with out having to Reset the entire thing.

meanwhile i did a ton more runs and found grandfather and tyreals chest. It just feels bad when ur doing a 4x rota and some party member gets 3 mythic within that rota with GAs on them to boot.

its a one time off. Streamers seem to be able to lvl 1 - 100 in 6 hours, but it took me nearly 29 hours. Not something i would wanna do multiple times.
