The first thing I thought of, but I think they should just keep 1 material and have Uber uniques grant 10, Uniques grant 1, and you need 50 to craft it. With this it could even just be a random Uber Unique… at least there is a real endgame loop to farm.
Devs just do whatever looks good on paper without thinking anything through on the gameplay loop.

Yep, seem to be honest.
Increase the drop rate on Duriel instead of Open World equaly, 0,00001% to 0,00003% is one of the biggest joke in history of Diablo saga.

The new Transmuted Uber Unique would have random roll, giving a slight chance to improve. But when the Transmuted Uber unique rolled to new random stats inferior to its original, more whining would flock to the forums.
Whatever Blizz do, whiners would whine to this Whiner’s Paradise game.
valid point, but do you think blizzard got this decision right and now uber uniques are actually frequent enough to make them a valid goal in NMD’s etc?

Yes, they should include non-uber uniques as a salvageable mat toward crafting “Uber Unique of choice”.
no they shouldnt. uniques fall from the sky from doing literally anything in game. also guaranteed from any target farming boss. it is an absurd notion to think you should be able to trade any amount of uniques to get an uber.

Yeah I agree, maybe not those exact numbers but a system like this would be better too imo.
Make it 1000x Resplendent Sparks and it might be in line with the time/effort to get 3x Premier. (remember that we can convert vault stone things for obals and then we can obal together a ton of uniques).

Dream on…like blizzard will never imnplement this…You can like farm grigoaire or the lesser bosses to get 1 uber unique in like what ? 10 runs ?

The best solution would obviously be to make them tradeable and let the market decide how “hard” it is to get a Shako vs a Starless Skies for example.
I think one out of every 50 NM100 dungeons should drop an uber, if you play over time. every 50 or so would be tight.
So it’s D3’s craftable primals? That didn’t take long.
10 uniques are no where close to 1 uber unique. Uniques drop all the time, especially from every boss.
But… Unique items cannot be gambled from the Curiosities Vendor.
