I want you to know, I’ve done over 100 duriel runs and I am done, if this continues you will lose customers with the horrible drop chance on uber uniques. I don’t see how streamers can get 5 uber uniques drop a day but me, 0 after over 100 runs. The Rng in this game needs to be fixed cause this isn’t fair at all.
RNG is not fair. nor is it supposed to be. 2% is a solid drop rate.

RNG is fine. We dont need D3 but i hear you can still play D3.
Honestly the drop rates are so high uber uniques went from lottery items to uncommon items.

For someone that spends so much time on forums posting 2047 times, how can you possibly know this game. And for everybody else, at 2% drop rate, a hundred runs should drop two uber uniques. And the sarcastic remarks from you do nothing for the rest of us playing the game.

Thats not how RNG works. Also just because i have a long commute doesnt have barring to fourm vs gameplay. I just have something to do during my commute, i also work a job that affords me the ability to slack off and use the fourms.
Ive done about 60 runs and have a shako, gf, andy. RNG is RNG.

I understand where you’re coming from. I think I have done about a 100 Duriels now as a solo player. I soloed farmed everything and still no Uber.
It sucks but it’s RnG. I have seen other folks and streamers doing like less than 20 runs and get an Uber. It sucks but then again it’s RnG.
The good thing is you don’t need an Uber to be good at this game. You can beat all the Uber bosses and NM 100 comfortably without Uber as long as you use a decent build (and not just meta).
I think it would be nice if we can get some Uber shards as a consolation. So every run you can get a shard for Shako, and you will need like 200 PCs to make one.
So every run can drop a random Uber shard that will be applicable to your class. You can’t get a Necro shard if you’re a Sorc.
I know some folks don’t like this idea, but remember Shako gate? Dupe mats? Streamer benefiting from Mats from their followers? This idea is still better than those. You do 200 Duriel runs and there might be a chance to get a Shako. Worst case you wait 200 runs to summon a Shako, but since it’s random Shard drops, it might take you 400 runs but eventually you know there’s some progression with your Duriel farming.

If he can’t play this easy game, he won’t be able to get D3 either.

The problem is twofold;
We have crap drop rates on top of the only reliable source for good gear being a single boss that requires a tonne of additional farming in advance.
It runs completely counter to what has historically made Diablo and other looters fun in the past, and unnecessarily gates progression. Granted we don’t have any content that demands Ubers just yet, but the first piece is coming in 2 weeks and there will presumably more down the line.
I would almost be able to tolerate this nonsense if you could simply fight Duriel as often as you want, or at the very least far more often than we currently can within a sensible time frame for an adult working a full-time job.
But right now it just reminds me of the worst practises of old school MMOs, and while I actually miss some elements from them, this absolutely isn’t one of them.
This garbage has no place in an ARPG. If you’re gonna have sub-5% drop rate stuff, then there has to be more than 1 reliable source and it shouldn’t be time gated.
This game doesn’t have a subscription fee, there’s absolutely no need for the devs to pull nonsense like this on us.
I get that people don’t want this to be a rehash of Diablo 3, and I agree with that sentiment but right now D4 is in this weird hellscape of being too much like D3 in terms of overall difficulty of the game (that will get fixed next season hopefully) and old school MMOs when it comes to gear progression.
