So i main barbarian and don’t have a build that can burn down Uber Lilith in under 2 min and the fight just seems too RNG to be fun. I’m level 100 with almost a perfect HOTA build which cost me 100 million gold+ for re-rolls and countless hours of farming. Even with the most powerful barbarian build i can’t really touch her health bar before getting one shot by her wave attacks.
Now before everyone starts going “just get better”, please look into the wave attack RNG. The two middle waves can be stacked almost on top of each other, the middle waves can be offset of each other if you get around the first one too early, and the outside waves can move in either direction. When trying the fight with a duo, the waves RNG are even worse.
I understand this is top endgame content, but there isn’t much improvement i can make on my build. On console, you don’t have the luxury of being able to hit the ground behind you to max the DPS of the HOTA quake. Unfortunately it seems my only option at the moment is roll another character and maybe I’ll be able to just burn her with a broken bone spear necro or blizzard sorc.
Just kinda sucks that the fight comes down to burning her down to negate her mechanics. I’m all for hard boss fights. It’s a reason i have hundreds of hours in elden ring and dark souls games. But blizzard has missed the ball with this one. Either make the waves more predictable so you have a chance to anticipate the pattern or make it so they don’t one shot you.
I totally believe you! This sounds all too familiar. I played World of Warcraft, and the very first dragon that was introduced seemed un-killable. Eventually we did beat it.
I am guessing that Blizzard doesn’t want Lilith to be taken down too soon, to create a mythology about how tough this fight is. Maybe in a month, they will secretly nerf her abilities so more people will be able to defeat her.
I’m playing a Pulverize Druid, and currently think that even with the best gear, I won’t be able to beat her ever. I’ve read so many similar threads and watched videos saying the same thing you’ve stated. I’m sure you will beat her eventually. I’m just concerned that they may be making it so difficult right now.

Thing is… it isnt truly lilith, but her echo. Lilith herself was shown to be weak and feeble. It’s not a reincarnation, its not her true self. But a remnant of her I guess Essence. which could also be combined with the evils within the place. I mean its where Mephisto himself had been reconstituting himself. We just dont know if its the case.
Whole Lillith fight mechanic is very anti-console, unless you have “single target” build. Even Northwar’s sorc build cannot be replicated on console, as we have to swap weapons (not the worst) and skills (not really possible) quickly.
I beat her yesterday on ps5 yesterday with a twisting blades Rogue. I’d been trying for over two weeks everyday. I spent at least half that time not being able to get past the first 2 adds. It seems very unfair at first, but then you realise you can bait somewhat consistent patterns by standing on the edge of the ring every-time she jumps in the air. And always killing adds on the edge too. Stagger really helps in the 2nd phase. I used the lucky hit unique gloves and the aspect that dazes on hit.
I saw the platinum trophy (which requires an Echo kill) had been achieved on PS5 quite a few days before, but not sure it that was hacked or not.
It does seem impossible and unfair but it is doable with a lot of perseverance and tiny improvements every day. I do think some classes have it easier though… I can’t imagine dodging all her crap on Druid!
I’ve just discovered this huge issue myself. It was noticeable of course during other content, but goodness you really feel the pain or auto aim not letting you do crazy damage like you can on pc during Uber Lilith. So now we all sit here with our 100 barbs being sad while Blizzard more than likely doesn’t address this. RIP.
This game is pay to win for computer players, don’t even try. As for dodging her mechanics, get better, and don’t try to duo it. Get some better boots with more dodge. Your whack-a-mole build is made for pvp, not lillith. Less crying, more farming for a lillith-killer barb setup. It’s literally the last thing to do in the game, they don’t need to nerf her, ever.
But they will, because boo-hoo-hoo prevails in this society
