I have been working on the uber lilith fight for a few days now with the tornado werewolf druid build on PS5. Worked hard to get BIS gear, and therefore, DPS and defense meet the fight requirements.
As much as I want to finish this fight, i’m ready to put the game down, call it quits, and find another game… perminently. If this is Blizzard’s idea of end game fight mechanics, I will not waste my time grinding to attempt to do a fight that is buggy and broken. I have plenty of recorded deaths showing some ridiculus lag spike or mechanical glitch killing me.
Don’t get me wrong, I actually like the idea of the fight mechanics. I can imagine, with tweaks, it could be enjoyable and challenging. I do not mind dying 500+ times to get good, learn a fight, and finish it. But i’m dying to bugs and rubberbanding and for some reason, I don’t feel that Blizzard is pressed to fix or want to fix this. Further, it is pathetic that they are OK with the fight as is. This leaves me highly concerned about wanting to do any of their planned “end game content” in the future.
I will end with saying that my internet is great, I am hard connected, and I have cross play turned off. I even turned off damage numbers to see if it will help.
What are your thoughts? Are you having a similar experience? Do you feel that the fight is broken and needs to be refined? Are you upset with Blizzard releasing their most challenging Pinnacle fight like this? If so, is this going to be a consistent trend?

Idk if you’re aware of all the bugs, you might very well be, but it’s always good to compare notes.

I have 30 ms when I play WoW. I passively have 80-90 ms in D4 and there are frequent enough connection disruptions. I know the issue isn’t in my end because WoW runs fine. My theory is that Blizzard is using cheaper hardware for D4 since it isn’t sub-based.
I agree Uber Lilith is over-tuned… It’s not rewarding to kill her either as she drops nothing. Just an achievement and titles… That’s pretty crap for a Diablo game philosophy. Baal runs were all about the gear! Loot games need loot and loot droppers. I can’t run into that fight with 4 randoms either like Baal… Open world and closed/private dungeons is also bad design. Uber Lilith should be like a world boss…
I was excited to fight Uber Lilith. I farmed for very good gear and perfect aspects. I spent 120M gold enchanting stats to perfect my gear. But in the end I gave up on her. I didn’t find the fight to be fun.
I watched a streamer who streams a lot. And on Season 1, he was able to kill Uber Lilith. I never heard of any his whinings.
It was a plain kill although he died many times. And he never told us any of the glitches. He said it’s more on familiarizing the fight mechanics.
I never listen to whinings on these forums. I watch the streams of non-whiny streamers.
He whines on something else but never on Uber Lilith fight. Would I listen to him or the whiners? I would rather listen to him. Trolls on the internet are enormous.
You hate Uber Lilith becoz of… your 80000 Deaths. ROFL. Cry more. The game is lagging and you are prone to death on 1 easy mistake, and you continue to go on and play? IT’S ON YOU.
Did I ever attempted to play Mythic Raids on WoW when I have a lag? Nope, I would just turn down the group. They better do it without me. But did plenty of Mythic Raid Boss kills… becoz most of the time, there’s no lag. I sat down if I have a lag.
Ahh man I just consitently have gotten good at this fight and now I’m starting to notice that all my wipes are things that are completely out of my control and are clear issues with the implementation of this fight.
My last death was due to a random 15s lag spike right in the middle of the fight, this is rare but I guess blizzards servers are being slammed right now.
My death before this was because the adds that spawn got pushed a very far distance out of the circle of death and there was no way for me to destroy the boils so all 6 exploded and ended me, WTF.
I’ve had near deaths because blood boils that lillith spawns just every once in a while happen to be outside the circle of death so I have to pop out DPS them pop back in to live etc. Clearly a bug in implementation.
Waves will spawn overlapping with each other, a known bug.
The tar ground in phase 2 occasionally shows incorrectly that certain regions are safe (not covered by tar.) If you don’t pay attention to the direction that lillith flies you can easily die from trying to observe the tar ground.
These are just some bugs I remember. Holy crap. awful expreience.
Dunno if this is a bug but just had her at 10% life in phase two, she flew to one side of the platform, which is a cue she will break that side, so I run to her, then she vanishes (doesn’t fly away, her avatar just vanishes, ie was there one second, not the next) and she appears on the the other side of the platform. GOTCHA! Wow lillith thats a new ability didn’t know you can deek+ teleport. THanks.
