Game Updates
- Echo of Duriel drop rates for Uber Uniques will now be doubled until January 8th.
Developer Note: We’re boosting Duriel Uber Unique drop rates until January 8th to help all those looking for that special piece of gear. Happy Holidays!
- Vampire Power Update:
- Metamorphosis: Unstoppable duration changed to a flat rate instead of scaling with Vampiric power level.
- Unstoppable duration changed to 2.5 seconds at all levels. No longer increases per level.
- Damage increased from 80%/120%/160% to 110%/180%/250%
- Note: Metamorphosis in-game tooltip will not reflect these new values, and will be updated at a later date through a client update.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed an issue where in extreme cases, Charged Bolts would result in stability and performance issues.

Just goes to show, never play a new Season until a month+ after it starts. Now this won’t bring me back into the game, but hey maybe the complainers will finally get that Shako they were after.

(Is that the worst drop possible? I was going to originally say flickerstep since that’s the most dropped one for me, but there’s actually a use case for Flickerstep…so going to go with Soulbrand as the award!)

Taking it from the theorized 2% to 4% is quite nice. Might get me to focus on Duriel instead of AoZ once I am back from seeing my parents for Xmas.

2% is a complete myth fabricated by Maxroll.
The data I collected from several players I know and myself, combined with forum and Reddit data shows otherwise.
I put a reliability value on the “unconfirmed” forum posts to account for bragging and overestimation. The data would be better if I could confirm everything but I have to make sure, hence the reliability valuation.
The drop rate is closer to 0.44% but I can’t say definitely. There was several data points that were extremely far from the median on both sides and even with a low reliability value it’s possibly they could alter the result.

yeah your .44% is way off. its about as reliable if i were to just randomly say its a 5% droprate because of reasons.
I agree 100%. I did enjoy the season, but the farming for Duriel kind of killed it for me. Having these drop rates, and the farm/grind necessary for them, for seasonal content, speacially knowing you have other pieces of content that will for sure only work if you have these items, is completely idiotic.
Not enough to bring me back. I thought about buying mats to try and get a few more runs in, but I don’t think is worth the risk of getting banned because they can’t fix the dupping bugs, and then I’m held accountable for something I can’t control, so, here’s to a better season 3 I hope.
