Hi, I’m a small streamer on Twitch.
The Diablo 4 Twitch Drops are available for any streamer playing Diablo 4 with drops enabled.
However, I have Twitch Drops enabled on my channel, but my viewers aren’t getting progress for the drops.
I have tried turning drops off and on again, as well as changing the category from Diablo IV to another game and back again.
Viewers get progress in other streams, but not in mine.
This is also happening to a friend of mine.
I have previously had Twitch Drops for World of Warcraft on my stream without issue.
Can Blizz please look into this, or respond confirming whether it’s actually limited to certain streamers.
My channel is the same as my username if that’s needed to check anything.
Thanks,
Dreadiedude
You have to make sure to link your twitch and battle.net together to enable the drops. Go to your creator dashboard > drops > click on the D4 week 1 drop > at the bottom connect your account.
Thanks, I didn’t realise you had to do that too.
I don’t recall doing that step for the WoW drops.
Where it says connect at the bottom, I click that and it takes me to the Blizzard page which shows that I have my Twitch account connected to my Blizzard account.
However, back on the Twitch page it says ‘click on refresh after you connect the accounts’ and the refresh button doesn’t do anything. If I refresh the browser page it just has the connect button again ![]()
EDIT: I had to disconnect the link to my Blizzard account then relink it again before enabling the drops for each week. Got it working now ![]()
What about those of us who are having the same problem as OP but our accounts have been connected all along (and yes I’ve tried un-linking and re-linking as OP had but it wasn’t fixed for me like him)? I’ve had my B-net linked with my Twitch for over a year and have never had this problem before. Earlier this year I was even selected for Support A Streamer when Dragonflight dropped but it’s not like I disconnected the account afterwards, why would I, I wanted to continue helping my community get drops and did so with other games like Overwatch 2. So is it my account specifically in this case or something that can be looked into please? Because I’ve been regularly streaming Diablo IV since launch, because I love it but also because I want to help my viewers get the drops, and no matter what they simply don’t show up on my channel (Twitch name is same as username; EruAnne). Thanks in advance!
Asking here bc I have a similar issue. I’m in the same boat, have drops enabled, have diablo linked with my blizzard account and my ps account, blizzard account is also linked to my ps account, but it wont connect in twitch to say that they are actually available for people to earn
