If I got 50 hours of enjoyment from this game I probably wouldn’t be complaining. I don’t know if I even got 20. After campaign was done I did a little bit of WT3 and quit.

I think the name is the biggest issue, people expect something epic when the word legendary is used.
Renaming them to Inscribed Rares, and then reduce the number of legendaries dropped, but instead drop just the aspects more often. Don’t know this might help?

I will say for myself that this is not a bad game. But let me tell you that the diablo game deserves much, much more than we were offered. It’s the precursor of hack and slash games, so stop telling yourself that this game shouldn’t meet the requirements of all its fans. Diablo 3 failed completely. Diablo 4 has regained its character, atmosphere and potential, but without significant changes to the item system, this game will disappear. Maybe for the Creators it doesn’t matter because they probably earned their money and the game paid off. However, changes in diablo 4 are necessary. Soon they will find out for themselves when POE 2 comes out or how most veterans of the series will prefer to play Diablo 2.
diablo 3 was an overall success for blizz, D4 is a massive success, and both games have and will enjoy longevity with their players.

Even so, I have the right to express my opinion. As for Diablo 3, please - It’s a shame for this series. And the success you are talking about was based on earlier productions.
If you are still playing this game I can almost guarantee you are the minority. Most people who bought it probably liked it, and are like okay now on to the next game.

I agree with OP. More people need to realize how terrible this game is and how much work actually needs to be done to make it enjoyable instead of fanboy responses. The game is plagued with serious issues. D4 devs truly are living under a rock.
