Trust Level 3 Forum permissions

Well, read my example above, they can silence you for the silliest things

I mean I can see how that may offend people. Even if you think it is funny, you should think family friendly first as kids read the forum. And humor for an adult may not always be understood by kids.

It’s an M-rated game. You shouldn’t have to censor yourself. Beside that, you can still get posts flagged as trolls even without saying naughty words if enough people dislike your opinion. It’s not a good system.

Scroll to the bottom “Pegi 18” if any one below 18 visists these forums or play the game… then well… the parents failed

Why would how i prefer my character to look… offend any one ?

Yes I have it and it took forever

Requirements should be cut by 2/3

Having to read like 20k posts is absurd

Buying the game and spending a small amount of time to prove you’re not a weirdo bot or something should be sufficient to post helpful pictures or links

It says “trust_level_3” when I look at your profile.

How do you see that page?

nevermind

LOL anyone who actually posts a valid negative opinion on this forum will NEVER get this because of the shills.

Must have mistyped something. I did it twice. It worked, thanks.

Many times that’s just selective enforcement of disagreement. Censors gonna censor. Wrong think is not allowed. I always state my opinion, and I generally do it politely.

Nope change that

This one is way more customizable.
You can set themes to it.

So, a couple things play into this.

  1. They changed it so that after a suspension you can earn your TL3 back again eventually. I think it takes 6 months or something. It is no longer permanent loss.
  2. There is some sort of beta group on the WoW forums that seems to give some people Perma manual TL3. Manual TL3 exempts people from the automatic removal of TL3 due to lack of activity or a penalty. I don’t know the whole story on that one. Just what forum users say about it.

Post count is not how you get trust levels. It is more about days visited, posts read, and giving a few likes here and there.

The GAME is rated for content that is static, pre made, and reviewed. Game rating is for Blizzard’s content.

Players have to follow totally different rules and those are very family friendly for all Blizzard platforms (games, launcher chat, forums). No profanity, masked profanity, sexual comments, innuendo, slurs, insults, spam, etc. This applies to all player created content (names and chat).

Check the forum Code of Conduct - very family friendly rules for us posters/players. Blizzard Support - Forum Code of Conduct

You mean people who can’t follow the code of conduct while expressing their thoughts? Yeah, you can say as much critical stuff as you want, but you can’t resort to threats, profanity, masked profanity, insults, slurs, etc. Can’t spam or otherwise break the rules either.

Posting well thought out criticism is not at all going to get you reported. It always amazes me that people speed then blame others that they got caught.
