Even after all the annoyance of the past week. I said to myself “self…we are gonna go rogue”…well 23 levels in, I saw a hota barb run by me, and I just felt like…what am I doing. So here I am back again.

Same here. Currently lvling as rend to try something different, loving every minute of it.
I dont think I’ll ever play any melee class except barb, its one of the most (if not the most) iconic classes of the Diablo franchise.

Yeah, nothing really comes close to that feeling of slamming the hammer down and watching things go boom
Yeah I played ww Barb to start base d4 then switched to Druid got both of those to level 85 but I couldn’t let go of Barb this season and missed playing upheaval from the beta so I’m leveling with rend then I’m gonna try out upheaval and maybe go ww again depending on how the endgame and hopefully the new patch works out for us. So salty we got nerfed into the ground but at least we get bold chieftains aspect as a season reward which is huge
Same here. I saw another barb run past me and I was like:“what have I done?”. Its gotta be barb for life.

Same, tried being a bear and lvl till 30ish. Saw some barb running around and thought to myself why do I prefer a fat Druid and proceed to reroll a barb
Hahah guilty aswell. Started out with a necro and with Bone spear, went really great but i need to pummel enemies with weapons. Im to old for Magic it seems. Not that Kinda Magic that would fix barb again.

I learned from Diablo 3 that it’s not a great idea to get married to any single class. Especially barbarian. It took them until season 17 to make rend/WW for Pete’s sake. They were able to get away with gimping barb for so many years because it was the meta zdps class in groups. Well, there is no real group or meta or zdps so barb is just another dps class now. As another dps class we need parity. Barbs tend to overreact because we got the nerf ptsd in our DNA. 
With that said, I am VERY happy I made the barrage rogue. I’m mid 50s, just moved into the ‘endgame’ build with deathtrp. I was using Wudi’s lvling guide now I’m switching it into DiEo’s build with deathtrap. I got these pants that reset the timer on them, it is a riot. Crushing everything currently.
Will I make another barb when the 1.1 patch comes out? I CERTAINLY HOPE SO but the ball is in Blizz’s court. Just please dont nerf barrage rogue because a lot of us are playing it until then, lol.
I had a similar experience. I was druid in pre season and thought I’d try a rogue for season 1 but I couldnt get into being some dancing nancy and had to make a swole boy. Just unlocked wt3 and dinged 50 last night.

Blizzard having a vision and intent for the game is one thing. Expecting the playerbase to understand those visions and intentions without knowing them is another. It’s like having Asian parents. When you’re doing your homework, they stand next to you. When you make a mistake they whip you with the fly swatter without telling you what you did wrong. Just “Try again!”

I’ve been a barb main since d2 classic. Part of the lifestyle is periodic nerf trauma.
up to 60 on rogue. Other than bein a squishy lil fellow, WHAT A BEAST! blizz better put their hips into it to get me back on a barb lol
sitting at 55 here and finding the rogue enjoyable. Still really learning the class but the momentum key along with the vigor aspect allows me to get the tanky feeling of a barb, at least for now in lower level nm dungeons. Rarely use health pots.
Hate to say it but the rogue is just more fun.
