Tried organizing my stash, decided to log off instead

Okay so I decided to try and cut down on all the stuff in my stash and try to make room since d4 only gives us 4 tabs.

First off without a cursor on console this takes forever. Manually moving the selector over each and every item makes the items info flash real quick as you try to sort through. This is nauseating and seriously takes longer than it should. I was genuinely trying to sort through aspects that I wanted to keep when I accidentally hit auto sort. Now accidentally hitting a button is my fault, but if I had a mouse cursor, like in d2r, I could have sorted everything back to my preferred order of reading quickly. Without a mouse like cursor this means if I want to put things back the way I had it I’d have to take everything out then put everything back in. Like seriously, in a game based on acquiring loot why is the stash not stream lined in a more logical manner. D2r had it down for console.

Besides a lack of space, the real problem with the stash is not being able to pick up and place items on console. at the moment my stash is just a 4 tab void of miscellaneous items that I can auto sort. The stash feels so clunky on console it feels as if no one actually tested the stash interface when sorting through large amount of items(a task inherent to this game).

TLDR I’m pissed There is no way to pick up, move, and place an item in stash/inventory.

Agreed - the lack of a cursor for inventory/stash, a la d2/d3 is asinine

It continues to blow my mind that D2R feels more like it was built for controller than D4. Please Blizz for the love of god give us a cursor.

stash really needs filters. nothing worse than trying to find the strongest version of an aspect you have in your stash but you gotta go through literally every legendary just to compare and find it.

I 100% agree with a filter, looking at every legendary and trying to find the strongest version of something feel impossible, just cause of how the stash is set up

The game needs more sort options. Just hit sort again to sort by aspect would be nice. I stopped playing cause this inventory system makes no sense.

Speaking of aspects i wish we can store them in a tome

I just found out that it doesn’t even use any rhyme or reason for the sort. It’s not done by level required or ilevel, it’s not done alphabetically. You hit sort and it randomizes everything except for by type or level of aspect.

This is mindblowing what an oversight this was. Did nobody in beta play with a controller?

Why are you hoarding crud??

You ONLY need 1 spare aspect of each you’re going to use…

Everything else is JUNK…

Gearing an alt…LMFAO!

Alts will gear themselves on the way up, which you already know, EVERY class has to play meta…

So again, why hoard?? You’re actually making a bunch of meta builds before your ‘oh so wanted restart every three month season’??

Stop crying, break the junk, or don’t…

There is NO REASON to hoard crud in this game…

Uhh. pretty sure everytime i sorted gear. it goes with highest level first and descends.
Everytime i orgonize the jumble mess with my gems in it. it puts gems lowest to highest. and by type.

Ken buddy, pal… More stash space is better.
You cant honestly expect someone like moi… to have 1 tab each… for 5 characters… right?
Alot of us are not going to stick to one character forever.
I’ve got 1 tab dedicated to affixes for 2-3 builds i wanna try on my sorc alone.

There is no reason we should be this limited.
