( On my ALT) I completed my first Grim Favors Turn in, I clicked on turn in, I didnt know what I wanted just yet ( Lvl 15- so not much gear ) so I backed out to see what slots I need most… BUT once I came back to talk to TREE again. I cant click on tree anymore to collect reward and I dont see anywhere in Menus to collect there either.
Tried leaving game and completely exiting game and loggin back in. NOTHING. Wont let me talk to tree and claim reward now

I answered this recently, but basically you just have to aim your mouse higher up on the tree.
same here, completed the main story, did the first 10 grims, returned but cant interact with the tree whatsoever
this actually worked today…
I found out that if you change world tiers after completing the grim favors it wont let you turn in until you go back to the world tier you were in when you finished collecting the favors.
This is the way.
I switched back tiers and was able to go unlock it now
Bump this, i played on 2 diffrent tears. 825 Obols in total ( cant not hand in on tier 3 or 4. Apparmt they are counted as seperate cant pick up any more cant get rid of them .
okay im dumb fellas. make sure you have the filter turned on for the whispers of the dead…
Onda, hopefully you’ve figured this out by now, but Obols aren’t traded with the Tree of Whispers; obols are used in major towns to get random items of a specific type from the Purveyor of Curiousities. Grim Favors are what you turn in to the Tree of Whispers; they’re represented by the bar at the bottom of your map when you’re in the main world-view. As far as I understand, you can collect more than ten and they just roll over into the next reward, but you can only see the progress bar fill up by the 10 favors as you complete them.
