This is the worst gaming experience I’ve had in years. Your servers were put together by toddlers. I’ve never died so many times due to rubberbanding in my life. One moment I’m walking along then I freeze in place and a second later I unfreeze from the lag and im surrounded by loads of enemies and before I can react, boom frozen again. Just rubberbanding back and fourth. I almost want a refund. Whoever is in charge of running Diablo 4 servers, you are trash.

will pretty much be a “You Problem” as most people dont have this issue.
Maybe do a Traceroute to check if you get connection errors/Package loss.

i didnt say you are the only one.
Tho the advice is something you can do, its not uncommon to have Router/ISP issues when connecting to specific servers. But sure, if you want to play the game Servers and dont want solutions, thats cool then

Sometimes I have this even on my 1gig fiber connection. It’s not horrible most of the time, but last night it was pretty bad I’d have to say. Ping hit upwards of ~700 according to the ticker on screen. But now D3 on T180 with a full group…Now that’s some rubber band action!

I rarely ever deal with any rubberbanding unless there’s some ddos attack going on. It happens so infrequently for me that I actually recoil for a second and remember it for hours after it happens like “damn, that was a nasty rubber band earlier…”
You might want to try a WinMTR to the D4 servers while you’re playing to see if you can catch any routing issues in action. Most of the time, it’s some bad hop between you and the server dropping packets or buffer bloating causing bad ping jitter.
Fiber means nothing if the path to a server is unstable.

my entire team of 4 people had to seperate into solo because of how bad the server lag is right now its 5:40pm Central time game is almost unplayable. cant even do solo rubberbanding so bad. we are all experiencing same issue in different regions. fix your game

yep. I don’t have issues with any other game. Just this one. And many many many other people are too.

Stop white knighting. There are at least 10 threads about lag daily, and like 5 of them on the main page at this very moment.

It is also always great fun when loosing connection at the end of a dungeon. It just happened, I just managed to get a glimpse of the boss’s lifebar and ‘Bam’! The message we all know and love: ‘Your client has lost connecton…’ Why is it always at the end of dungeons? I think this is the 5. time I’ve tried this.
Not to speak of the one time I almost got the better of The Butcher with my rogue. After all those times he has killed me! He was down to less than 20 percent. and I was GOOD! I was Ali. I was Michael Venom Page, I was Bruce Lee I was… ‘BAM’ the message we all know and love! I think I blew my poor cats eardrums. Come on Blizz, fix this! My cat is a nervous wreck! My deaf cat! And I blame that on you!

Did you try limiting your FPS with the Nvidia control panel/Amd Software? I set mine with min 30 max 60 as was having the same problems and it mitigated a lot of that nonsense. You may need to adjust depending on display type but 30-60 should work on anything.
