“Transmog removed due to different weapon type”

This has happened to my offhand when…
My character’s transmog is visibly removed, except for in the wardrobe. There, the item looks correct, but the game doesn’t recognize that the transmog is equipped, and I have to reload the profile.
This is constantly happening to me as well on my sorc.
I have the same problem on my sorceress.

Seeing this also on my sorceress. Happens just from moving an object such as a gem around in the Equipment spaces while the offhand has a transmog. Only apparently happening when using the Spellbook look, when selecting the Visa-something look (metal cylinder looking thing) it does not happen. Current focus is Molten Lotus of Control, can’t recall seeing the issue with previous focus or with a staff.

Same. I used an orb as transmog but when I move an item in the inventory a message comes up telling me the transmog isn’t available anymore and switches back to the original one in the offhand of the sorc
Exactly this started happening to me ever since I got new Ancestral offhand.
