There is zero logic behind not being able to add sockets onto an item after transfiguration but allow everyone to change out gems freely. Adding sockets change zero stats. But when you alter the item through changing gems, you are changing statistics. Now its my fault for forgetting to add sockets before transfiguration but is the item really unmodifiable if you are allowed to change gems ? If we can change gems then we should be able to add sockets.
but you can’t… make sure you hit every point on your checklist before you go to transfigure.
Right but if thats the case we shouldnt be allowed to remove or replace gems after transfiguration because that is clasified modification
