So am I supposed to manually note down the 75 damage sources I deal per second for a minute on a sheet and do the calculations all by myself?
I don’t understand why you didn’t add a DPS meter at least usable in the training room

agreed, useless without it
Bro, I can’t even find the thing.
That really makes no sense. Maybe there is a way to turn it on that you have not found yet? Why bother at all if you can’t compare damage?
Just shows none of these devs are actual gamers, sad the team they got working on this game
Real men do their training in the field.
agreed, but seems to the the thing to do, meet the players halfway? well like 10% of the way really, works this way in Last Epoc also :(.
Wish it was like Losk Ark, their training room is really helpful
What are you even talking about? Stay in your lane! After paying for the game, continue to willingly serve as an unpaid PTR tester every season. That’s the essence of it. You shouldn’t be complaining and nitpicking about straw men. Be grateful if they can even hit something. Still complaining that straw men are lackluster? It means this game isn’t for you. Please, go play World of Warcraft!
Ok, I found the training dummy. I’m a rogue so hear me out.
Inner Sight doesn’t work on this thing. It literally does not mark. I’m not sure if that’s intended or not, but regardless you should’ve known what was gonna happen.
All these clowns saying “we need a training dummy!” well, you got it boys. And it does about as much as the rest of us knew it would. Without recount you might as well be in the hills testing your damage on a bear.
But hey, you got that training dummy. Now go train, dummy.
It has a dungeon icon. NNE of the world tier tower, pretty much right beside it.
Hey you got your training, dummies
It’s funny, you seem to attack the players who wanted to know if the weapon they found that has a higher item power but lower “+damage from close” is more powerful than a weapon with lower item power but higher “+damage from close”, things like that, instead of the devs who spent time creating a useless training dummy. Are you okay?
That’s a pretty stupid argument to make considering Weapon Dmg > everything else. Here’s an example:
You have a weapon with 300 dmg and 15% dmg to close. You deal 345 dmg.
You have a weapon with 280 dmg and 20% dmg to close. You deal 336 dmg.
It’s already less dmg and that’s not even considering that higher weapon dmg affects ALL your damage, not just your dmg to close.
If you’re fast enough to drain the dummy’s hp, there’s a Uber drop! I just tried it with my Ball Sorc!
Not always, no. In your examples you also don’t take into account the other gazillion modifiers that you’d need to take into account. Besides, I shouldn’t have to whip out my calc to figure out if a certain weapon is more powerful than another in my specific case. Video-games are programs that already calculate everything, devs could just display the info we need. Some of you try to defend every of the devs’ stupid decisions, it’s baffling.
And you’re insulting people who wanted an adequate dummy instead of Blizz who made the dummy useless.
Congrats, you’re officialy the dumbest person in this forum.
Glory to the Champion!
Just equip the weapon with the higher dps. There is no world where you EVER make up for it with additive modifiers. Ex:
3000 dmg weapon. Literally zero mods.
2800 dmg weapon with 70% dmg to close and 50% dmg with core and 40% dmg to frozen is still only 2,960 dmg and you don’t get even get all of it 100% of the time.
What’s worse is there’s no way to spawn corpses and other stuff on the ground.
For necromancer you mean? I thought I read something in the last patch notes about spawning corpses. I’ll find it for you.
I don’t play necromancer, but I’m sure this is an improvement.

pretty sure that’s not how that works
