lmao another delusional dude that thinks this game is competitive
I don’t need a salty boy to believe me, but your reason to remove trading is sad, life is also competitive, guess what, it’s also not fair, expecting that a video game is fair is some 5 year old brains.
Is it fair for someone to have Shako and 99.9% of the rest of us to not have it ? not its not fair, is it competitive ? yeah, with equal skill the Shako guy will perform better than all of us, you are spouting nonsense and bulls hit, get a hold of yourself and stop acting like a man child, if you feel weak in the game, start investing more time into it and learn to play better, just because a random dad bought his BIS gear doesn’t make him better than me, I will still faceroll the floor with him, no matter what gear he has, you are forgetting the main factor which is S K I L L.
no - people like selling their pixelated stuff for real money. This is NOT my first rodeo regarding trading of items in video games. I have had 30+ years of MMO’s and online games to back up my viewpoint. every single time, it boils down to people spending real money to get items. This makes those who sell the items no better then games companies utilizing predatory monetization practices. Want to know where the idea for loot boxes and such came from? the third party item/gold sellers from the everquest days. They taught the publishing houses that gamer joe/jane will part with their money for gratification/advantage.
If people like selling, let them sell, as long as people buy, there will be selling, how does that influence you ? a 10 yr old that has his mom’s credit card is going to outplay a veteran gamer with a bit poorer gear ?
That speaks more about you, rather than the trading problem, sorry.
rng and item selling are completely different. everyone plays the game with rng, no one has an advantage. Item selling is completely predatory.
This is a terrible take. Currently the majority of current RMT’s take place via 3rd party websites BECAUSE there is no meaningful in game trading/auction house.
You can just buy fully geared and levelled character accounts. With a good in game trading system/auction house you will end up with far fewer dodgy account sales via 3rd party websites.
love how you try to justify fleecing people of their money.
I’m justifying the fact that I want trading and I don’t care who sells what and buys what, I’m playing the game and I like the fact that I can trade, I don’t want this to be Diablo III wasteland as mentioned previously.
If you don’t like trading, don’t do it, don’t buy RMT, don’t sell RMT, play how you like, so ignorant ffs.
Even if we assume that you are absolutely right, which in general is certainly not true. How will it affect your game if there are 2 leagues and you play your ssf? It won’t affect you at all adn btw everyone will be happy, so all your thoughts on this matter are irrelevant.
A guy with a lot of posts, but has brain, I’m astounded, but yeah, I told him the same, play SSF if trading is the problem, but little Billy is too worried about what other people do, rather than enjoying what he likes.
No because they want to prevent everyone to use an ARPG Core system.
ffs, daddys and casuals taking over D4 like they did with D3
I’ll farm Daddys and Casuals in the Fields of Hatred any day, tyvm.
Pretty sure this problem is easily solvable.
1.) Can only trade with players on your friend list at the time when the item dropped.
2.) Can only trade 1 items in a 24 hour period.
3.) All items can only ever be traded once.
4.) When Blizzard does ban waves to ban bots and farmers, also extend those bans to their friends lists.
Problem solved. You are welcome.
I really dont understand why we need trading. People keep saying stuff like ive found this really good item but its not for me… oh maybe i should sell it and buy my own BiS equipment etc etc… so you are playing a loot game to not get loot…? Idk maybe im missing something entirely, but games that do have trading devolve into RMT and feel like they have less people actually playing the game then just selling items and such.
Like can someone honestly explain how trading is a core part of a loot finding game… I want to understand but I feel like I’m missing some crucial aspect
Have you ever played any ARPG excluding D3 RoS?
I assume you didn’t and you and you draw conclusions based on irrelevant experience
it effects my game because it is a competitive game, if you fail to see how it effects everyone, then there is no explaining it to you. what I have stated is absolute truth. every time free trading of items occurs, it ends up being pay to win. even now, when there is nothing at stake, the trade forums are overloaded with gold sellers. Why, because they know people will spend real money for it. How is this any less sleazy than publishing houses selling xp boosts, or even level skips?
Again you are playing your own SSF league, with your SSF leaderboards how does it affect you?
Why people care so much about RMT in PvE game? If people are that stupid to spend money on virtual items that will be deleted next season, let them be? It literally wont affect 99% of player base. Others will trade as intended with gold.
because it is predatory.
Since when stupidity is predatory?
