Its the same party refresh stash dupe method again.
There is always a duping method in this game. It’s not always caught but there are always ways. Cheaters will always find a way to cheat and they are good at doing so.
I have it set aside for you. If not I will give you mine, I don’t use it,

It’s the same duping exploit that has been going around since release. The prices are already in freefall.

Not a surprise that there is another way they are doing this. Atleast they are aware of it and disabled trading.
The question that comes to me is that these duped items should have the same ID that is in the Database that they could essentially go in clean them out. Assuming thats how they have it setup on the back end.
Thankfully season is a shorty and discovered before the xpac, but im sure another will rear its head they always do.
They’ve been aware of it since launch and have failed to do anything. I’ve seen multiple people on Diablo.trade admit to duping and selling for real money with their battletag. Normally when you ask someone why their price for an item is 400b they just come out and tell you lol. Each time I report it to the Blizzard emails for exploits, and those users are all still active. So no fix for these issues, and no bans. Pausing trading for something they don’t intend to fix is maniacal. They have all the evidence and are doing nothing
Just fix all the broken items please. That should be a higher priority. Soulbrand DR still doesn’t work. Wolf pants ranks frozen at 5. Sorc chain lightning gear busted. The list goes on.
I’m okay with them deleting the cheater’s mats, maybe even mats that people bought from cheaters, but how they identify that, that’s a different story

Yeah, including eternal mats if I remember correctly.
I have some left over from S4 and would like to grind through them before the expansion so I can craft new ubers based on whatever changes they make to items, but if they just delete everyone’s mats again, then oof

Been aware of it since launch if you talking about duping in general then yes its been a problem since launch. But are you stating its the same method as it was before and the other times or is it a completely new method discovered?
isnt the dup happening each odd season? maybe the oddball team copy and pastes some old code in that contains the dup bug
