It’s been 5 seasons now for me, with trade chat being all screwed up. And it has only gotten worse! Before, I could do the exit-change settings-logout-login-change settings back, and it would work most of the time. This season has been a nightmare. An hour of doing that this morning hasn’t worked. Deleted and reinstalled the game. Does not work. It is a freaking chat, how is this so broken? It’s not that I care about being social. Drop rates are terrible for lots of things, so you get locked behind having to trade or sell/buy for most endgame stuff. I’ve been playing Diablo religiously since D1 came out on PC, and THIS is what’s making me want to give it up. Please Blizzard.
Wow! You’ve gone a lot further than me to get it to work. I just logon once a day and check. So far it hasn’t worked this season other than first day.
It’s such an insanely common complaint/topic in the chat (when people can get in), but it’s NEVER brought up in their little campfire chats or by content creators. How does it take this long to address? Problem since year 1, we’re heading in to year 3. Iirc, bnet chat worked fine back in the late 90s…
