I’m tired of streamers saying the drop rates are causing inflation. Do me a favor, streamers; just search buy D4 gold.
To paraphrase Yoda. Trade leads to real money; real money leads to botting, and botting leads to hyperinflation. If you need to have trading, do not ruin the game for those who do not want pay2win and a “D4JSP” real money market being the true endgame.
Please follow Last Epoch and create a trade guild and a self-found guild and heavily nerf all drop rates for trade and heavily buff all drop rates for self-found. Their system is a great concept to improve on. Each guild can play together, etc. However, with raids coming there will be gear checks to even group. Without this change, this game will go down the gutter of a pay2win play-wall shortly. You already have Diablo Immortal; we do not need a 3rd party clone.
You probably won’t need BiS gear or even to be max level to clear the new raid. If Blizzard actually makes it competitive like WoW raids, that’s dumbest decision of the year material right there.
There is no raid coming, there won’t be gear checks, stop with this nonsense already.
We’re getting a co operative dungeon, that can likely be played solo with mercs and likely only requires 2 players (you and your merc or you and a friend).
What about elden ring, witcher 3, monster hunter world/rise, Cyberpunk, etc.? Those games definitely don’t suck, and D4 also doesn’t suck. Else you wouldn’t post here in the forum, would you?
less players play over season → less good loot found and sold → more unspent gold accumulates for folks who still play → prices constantly grow. botters just adjust their gold prices (it’s cheaper and cheaper over season time).
Name a “co-operative” competitive blizzard game (or any really) that does not become gear checks. Gear check are unavoidable, you can close your eyes and pretend, but that does not remove reality.
I disagree with some of your sentiment - As of right now D4 is essentially a single player or casual multiplayer game for 90% of the players. So the outside market has little impact on the experience.
With that said, yes, it’s be great for Blizzard to iterate off of the LE guild system. It is a great system with some clunkiness that could be smoothed out
If prices are decreasing then that wouldn’t be inflation in pricing but deflation. You see prices declining at the lower and mid ranges while inflation is occurring on the high-end items is my observation from the short time I’ve been using diablo.trade
Really? Items drop frequently if you just play the game. Drop rates have increased since release. If anything, they are completely ignoring the economy.
didnt do any kind of rmt, did pretty fine this season. basically got everything done by week 2, now just farming and pushing when im in the mood for it.
People only bring up the rmt discussion because of their item jealousy and their inability to perform well in certain contents.
We arent talking about some esports here guys. calm down. This game is absolutely balanced for casuals by now. In my universe, if anyone wants to break the ToS by doing rmt, they should do that. Its their money they waste for stuff thats not the slightest bit needed.
