Anyone know more about what the “Toxic Claws interaction” was that they fixed in hotfix 10 today? The blue posts don’t really give any information that I can see.

Every one else does it better.
It would make shred damage grow exponentially by stacking poison with every proc of toxic claws. Was getting 300m+ crits on uber Lilith earlier with it.
Ah I see. So what is the new balance? Will it still stack but fall off separately after 4 seconds for each application? I wonder if that’ll effect how much I was doing with Tornados on my Stormwolf. I’m pretty sure they’ve been applying the poison as well.
I don’t know what they fixed but toxic claws does literally 0 damage. It says it is calculated on the base damage. My guess is that it does damage as if the hit wasnt a crit.
On a 4000 crit it does like 450 damage when i have a rank 4 toxic claw.
Its not the 30% i was expecting. This talent seems useless for damage it just allows you to apply poison on things that are not poisonned.
The only thing which applies decent poison damage is the poison creeper.
Poison from claws is uselesss, rabies is useless and toxic claws is useless. They want to fix things ok but give us options.
I wouldn’t say toxic claws is useless, as it gives damage modifier and damage reduction modifier to builds like physical shred and storm claw, but yeah more than 1 point is absolutely bad.

I am leaning towards agreeing with this. Dot damage is, from what I can tell, terrible and ticks down too slow. Also it applies off base damage which is…not good.
Crazy i logged in tonight and suddenly my shred build was so very much weaker. Already so squishy and problematic.
Swapped to tornado and way easier and faster. Good nerf.

Claw does little to no damage and poison does little to no damage.
It was the Aspect of the Blurred Beast doing it.
You crit and put 100 poison damage on something, then crit again and again and again and keep multiplying the poison damage. It would effectively keep stacking on itself and Blurred Beast would keep hitting for 100% of that damage which has been multiplied repeatedly.
Hello there i posted a video in console discussion. Did a world boss in 44 seconds. The druids in there melted the thing im assuming thats where its from.

The nerf was needed but don’t juste nerf it and leave the rest untouched. Druid needs a decent way to apply poison with shredded beast and not just this 20 second CD poison creeper.

Agreed. The base Claw poison is nice to get multipliers going, but it’s a weak generator and small poison. Rabies has issues for days, but would benefit strongly from being on a 4-5 second cooldown so we could actively and reliably have poison up on everything.
Lacerate not having any sort of poison interaction feels like a miss.
Then you go ahead and do that, it was bugged before and now it isn’t.
