Town Portal: Let us set a permanent destination

This would be one of the best Quality of Life additions to Diablo 4.

I absolutely hate porting out of a dungeon and ending up in Gea Kul. Worst city ever. I mean… you have climb a ladder to reach the Occultist. Terrible.

It would be nice to set a “home location” for your town portal. Manually clicking on the city you want to go to is annoying. This is especially true if you’re in a dungeon.

Yes. just let us put our favourite city and the tree of whispers waypoint to our emote wheel. 10/10 meta score in terms of quality of life.

Good idea, i also hope the Gatehall gets to stay permanent in the game, its pretty decent

indeed i do agree on that too.

I’d improve this idea.

Imagine something bad happening to you in the game, like it’s you first week of playing and you haven’t found an uber yet. You press F and get teleported to the forums where you can outright vent your frustration!

(This isn’t meant to be directed against you OP, just making some fun.)

I agree there should be a way to set a ‘Favored Way Point’.

I will reiterate this simple Tree of Whispers QOL waypoint idea.

That’s the one right here.

No one likes Gea Kul. I would love to see that meeting at Blizzard when the design of the city was proposed or review. Who in their right mind would say “Yes, that’s a great idea” to that city? They obviously were not thinking of playing the game, and just thinking that the city looks “cool.” Would be different if we actually needed to spend time in cities to do stuff, but right now, they are just stash houses.

The whole game is a tragedy…

how about just give us a solution that solves all problem. remote access to vendors anywhere! imagine we can have an option to sell/dismantle all marked items right from inventory tab instead of porting up then running east/west for that.

We have an Emote Wheel that can Exit Dungeons, use SPECIFIC POTIONS, and specific game functions like Inspect, Trade, etc.

So why can’t I set Town Portal: Tree of Whispers??? Or Town Portal: Cerrigar?

Yeah, doing it by emote wheel would proably be the easiest and cheapest solution to implement.
