Tower issues need addressing

The tower has a number of very serious issues at the moment:

1 - Damage sponge mobs. The mobs don’t become more dangerous, they just become slower to kill. it finally gets to the point where your buffs fall of, or can’t be applied in the first place because your not getting enough kills.

2 - mobs don’t aggro - you can’t pull mobs with you through the dungeon. So you kill a pack, all but the elite, which you need for the orbs, you have to hang with him and waste time finishing him off as he won’t come with you to the next pack.

3 - sheilding mobs can be making elites immune from 3 screens away - and the rest of the pack won’t come with you when you chase them down.

4 - you need to keep backtracking for orbs - on speed based content this is the most stupid design flaw ever.

5 - too much visual noise - I can’t see what’s going on. It’s so bad that not only can’t I see ground effects. Often I can’t even make out the mobs I’m fighting.

As far as I can tell there has been little change to the tower from the PTR - which makes me wonder why they bothered delaying it - the only reason can be that they hoped it would bring player back/ improve retention. It certainly wasn’t the stated goal of addressing issues raised in the PTR because they are all still there.
