There should be a tower defense style event in the open world. Strongholds that are hold by demons will spawn demon hordes on their way to lay siege to nearby towns or cities. Some sort of dota style gameplay build into the open world. Towns can be overrun.

blizzard has too much pride to rip off good mechanics, they’re desperate now though so you never know.

If it sounds fun in any way, that’s a guarantee you wont see it in D4…
