ToS and Keyboard Macro question

Just wondering if anyone knows the answer to this question…

Does D4 Terms of Service include any provisions that would not approve or allow of a player utilizing a keyboard that can run macros or programs? Would that be considered cheating?

For example, I just tested out my Razer Deathstalker Ultimate and it’s use of macros to run keyboard inputs in a pre-programmed loop. The purpose of this is just to save my fingers and muscles the effort while improving my gaming experience. Today is the first use of this aspect of my keyboard for such a thing but I found it to be a most amazing gameplay experience and I recorded me doing a Pite level 141 for testing. I’ll include the link here: (https://youtu.be/WIKG5fETv60)

Basically, I do have a health issue which makes this an accessibility feature for me and as long as D4 is not a competitive play to win kind of tournament game like fortnite or dota or anything else, this should be fine ethically. It’s strictly to save me some effort and improve my fun by making it easier and more accessible for me to play my tip top shelf LS sorc build to it’s up-most potential. It also is making it more easy for me to play given that I can pull off the same skill level without the macros, it just takes the strain off my wrist and finger muscles when I do have a health condition (sorry I am old) that does make me more prone to cramping and such.

To me, if I was on an old school NES or SNES or whatever, this would be something that would require a game genie and could maybe considered ‘cheating’ or something by someone since console players, or other PC players, might not have the ability to do this without additional software that might be against ToS. Again. This is just something my keyboard can do on it’s own with only the basic synapse windows software.

So my question is, does Blizzard really have a problem with me setting up my keyboard to autopress all my skills in my rotation, + my potion, in a loop so that I can start the macro to run a loop when I being a dungeon or anything else? Would it bother anyone else? Just curious what the thoughts are on this matter or if there is actually anything expressly forbidding this kind of gameplay in the D4 ToS? Does anyone know anything about this?

Anything that auto activates key presses is against the rules as far as as I can tell.

It really depends on how deep the macro goes through or for how long will depend on if you are caught out or not.

I know key binds are usually allowed but auto macros not so much.

Blizzard did release a mouse recently for d4 I think it allowed certain similar functionality.

But I am not certain as I just glossed over the details.

So many people use macros on gaming keyboards that they aren’t going to do anything.

This is kinda my thinking. Fr

It’s just an accessibility thing and from my perspective, anyone can buy a keyboard to do a macro that doesn’t use bad software or buy a custom controller with settings for the same thing for any console. Anyone can buy the same keyboard from 2013 on eBay for 80$ or elsewhere if you can still find this exact one or something similar. Plus, if it doesn’t change my skill level and I am already competitive at the high level in Gauntlet or the Pit who cares? Plus, I am so geared up and maxed out with my stats, the only things that can kill me are the things that 1 shot kill anyone in the Pit with the 140-200 level range.

If this was a competitive monetary situation, I would think it would matter then but no one is paying me to play or do whatever. Why should blizzard care? Why not use it if it essentially helps me play longer while avoiding cramping? Why not?
