Tornado Damage Changed?

I just killed a world boss post today’s maintenance and instead of many, many ticks, the damage seemed to tick in much slower, more noticeable chunks. Was the number of ticks per tornado changed(lowered)?

Seemed like it took longer to kill the world boss(although it’s hard to determine if tornado was nerfed, because I wasn’t the only person fighting obviously). Just feels off.

Tornado ticks were more frequent than intended. I don’t know if the developers ever mentioned it directly, but player observation noted that this is true (until now, I guess).

While I don’t run a tornado build yet, this feels like something bliz would have mentioned or posted about if they changed it considering it could drastically change a build. I haven’t seen anyone say that tornado was ticking more than it should either.

yeah, they should mention it if it was indeed changed. Maybe after tomorrow. Who knows? I just know that something is different.

I love how they hide behind “wasnt working as intended” when its just a straight nerf lol.

They should be saying “You guys were having too much fun and your not allowed more than two viable builds, so we nerfed the poop out of it like all the other builds/classes” :joy:

Reminds me of the CM Wizard in D3 when it was at its peak and Blizzard also heavily reduced the procs of the twister. And then it died. :joy:
