You mean in videos exploiting bug that is now getting fixed and is atm hotfixed by temporarily disabling bugged aspect?
you guys realised that being disabled kill most build for edgemaster since this game focus around CORE skill. Atm everyone suffer an 100% reduction in damage.
Absolute nonsense, first of all, Edge master is 30%. Second, it doesn’t even affect Core skills specifically, it affects all skills so the hell are you on about. Thirdly, I’ve replaced it with Inner calm and it didn’t make a dent on my damage as a result. Some classes/builds can barely fit it, especially if already geared with Uniques.
It will be back in few days, it is absolutely no tragic, nor it would be if it wouldn’t exist at all, but it is nice to have.
If you were exploiting the bugged part then screw you.
Ok im sorry I missread my aspect then. But still a 20%. Not a 30%. Still all skills. Hmm what your main source of damage though? I am not exploiting anything in this game.

I believe thats true till around lvl 50. At that point you might as well save yourself the headache and just follow a build guide.

Edit: scratch that, my apologies, it’s ofc 20%, I was looking at amulet version which is +50% bonus, again, sorry. I don’t have main damage source, like that +30% was part of +40% crit damage when above 60 essence. +30% after three basic attacks, +60% crit damage after using another skill. The moment I find Selig I won’t be using Edge master at all, in fact, I might like inner calm more (tho I get mobile zug zug classes wont like that)

We’re sorry about that folx, we had to leave the bug in so certain streamers could get 100 asap and get on the statue. They had an obnoxiously hard time trying to get a build going so we decided to give them a shortcut.

Minor correction: Streamers that participated in early access, which is definitely massive chunk of them, but still.
Make sense. But since your not using any ressources. As a rogue other then core skill nothing else is a spender. So your basically always at 20% increase. But I understand why you want the other amulet. More survivalbility.
I’ve seen on these forums that apparently, could be troll sources dont quote me on that, they knew some of those since Alpha and even in the beta people told them.
Well I use resources for my core but I have to keep them topped because of my Keypassive, which synergies with me throwing few basic attacks to top of it, which also triggers +dmg bonus for next core skill.
Whether the dmg is too much or not…the problem is that the powercurve is WAY too exponentially steep. You can see it in PvP, but you can’t see it well in most content as enemies scale with your level too.
However, past a certain point the game becomes way too easy and numbers mean nothing!
Blizzard should flatten the curve and increase PvP dmg reduction then we have better pacing.
Ofc then a lot of complaints will happen about nerfing power
It seems (and I have no issue with that) that outside of pinnacle boss and nightmare dungeon most of the progression cease at around lv ~80. That goes for Gems, Item Power cap and monster really stops putting out any resistance even if your gear is random assembly with zero synergy.
Hence to me it seems we will be getting World Tiers at lv 80-90-100 that will also unlock new gem tiers (that were already officially confirmed) as well unlocking Item power up to, I would say, 1100.
Don’t watch youtube videos then come on here and whine about damage. Go make the class yourself. Geez
Aaaaand we’re back here again with even more builds that break the game, only this time Blizzard isn’t doing anything about it.
All these comments to defend Blizzard and tell the OP they’re wrong, haven’t aged very well. And it’s only been a little over two weeks.
Maybe they are just taking their time to hand out some more nerfs. However, in the stream they stated no more nerfs, and only buffs are coming out. They also stated that they are totally fine with things like HotA barbs one shotting everyone in PvP (I already know they don’t intend to do anything about the state of PvP, but that doesn’t make the state any less bad)
So, as it CURRENTLY stands… OP was correct and these numbers are not only exactly what they said they wouldn’t have in D4, they are actually doing a 180 degree turn and just going with it instead.
BILLIONS OF DAMAGE, HERE WE COME! (which sucks)
