Haven’t made one of these in a while, so bare with me. Let me preface this by saying I plan to ask questions during the Q&A tomorrow on twitch. However, I’m only one person, and there’s plenty of questions out there to ask. So I humbly ask anyone willing to help ask questions as well.
Please try to keep the questions civil and realize they won’t answer everything, especially the specific questions or any questions that tend to be less favorable. You all know what I’m talking about.
For those who don’t know, there is a 2 minute wait timer on anything you type during the stream. There is also a rather annoying filter put in place that may block your question, and start the countdown until you can type out another sentence. I’ve had this happen numerous times for things that clearly shouldn’t have been filtered when I was just asking about endgame content.
I’ll list my current set of questions, as well as some others people have thrown at me. These are the current categories I have:
End Game Content rewards
Aspects
Paragon
Dark Citadel
Non-VoH content
Inventory &/Or Stash
I have not included Class Balance or the Cheating, Duping, Exploits, etc. I feel they will go over the Class Balance during the campfire itself, and anything involving cheating will be met with a rather vague answer anyway. So without further ado here are the current questions I have for tomorrow.
Will there be any changes to current drop rates of Ancestral gear moving forward?
Will you be adding more consistent ways to obtain Ancestral gear?
In regards to aspects, do you have plans to increase the base amount on a piece of Ancestral gear? I.E. a 750 piece of gear has a cap of 80% so ancestral starts at 81% for a 40-100% Aspect.
Four Paragon Boards (not including the base one) can feel limiting, especially with all the extra paragon points you have given us, will we be seeing any possible changes here in the future?
Any plans to rotate wings with other bosses in and out periodically for the Dark Citadel?
Any plans to increase the rewards (gear, items, or cosmetics) or offer more cosmetics to purchase from the vendor for the Dark Citadel?
Are there any plans to go back and revisit older content, such as NMD, Strongholds, etc. and make changes based off the Nahantu content?
Can we get compasses to stack?
Can we have Whisper completion stack so we can turn in anywhere from 10 to 50+ whispers at a time, receiving multiple caches in the process? Even if it’s just turning in 10 at a time, the ability to save up more would be gratefully appreciated.
Any plans to rework how our inventory and stash work? Such as perhaps having a collection of runes, gems, sigils, etc similar to that of the Codex for aspects?
Thank you for WhirlFeral for this question.
Two last questions from Xexica, it’s more related to class balance though.
So if anyone’s able to throw out a question or two during the stream tomorrow it’d be greatly appreciated. I’ve learned never to ask the same question twice, but there’s no problem with people asking the same question during the stream.
Make glyph points account wide just like paragons… the grind is boring, armoury when? Paladin when? Fix the core game bugs yesterday those are my main complaints… errr stop making ennemies bullet sponges make em hit hard but there’s no need for a mob with 500 spiritbornzillion hp
They talked about how they are actively looking at ways to improve alts experience so people will want to play make alts.
Can we add some more QoL changes to alts as they have already in multiple occasions, such as perhaps open up all the way points instead of just random few ? and juice up the stronghold rewards a bit more, the XP boost is nice already.
Can we allow alts to have access to paragon earned from main at level 1 ? lol I think D3 allows this. Instead of opening it up at level 60. The level grind is a bit painful for alts, having access to all the paragon pts you earned would speed it up by miles.
Advance this question to #4 to avoid them running out of time to address. DC, # paragon boards, etc., can be addressed some other time.

Reminder that we are streaming tomorrow for a mid-season #DiabloIV Campfire chat! And… Streaming again next week! More details on that soon. !
Oh they aren’t in any particular order of which to ask first/last. Just throwing them out there and asking for help from others to help ask them during the stream, there’s no way I’ll be able to ask all these questions by myself.
I think the Rod of Kepeleke is worth a discussion. How many “SpiritBorn’s are OP” threads be contributed directly to this item?
I have one, I use it, and I would prefer that it remain un-nerfed for the remainder of the Season, but I tried using the Mythic polearm and I strongly feel that there is a separate discussion to be had pertaining to this weapon.
this is a auto salvage item lol, is it worth a discussion on it’s own. Most definitely yes…
Rod of K is awesome and it is OP yes indeed. But should it be this OP ? subjective, most will probbaly say no. But a mythic weapon being this OP might be more justified ?
but you can’t just run Rod of K your build won’t function. it drains all your resources to give you 100 crit … you need some way to offset it. Currently you either use Midnight Sun or you temper in luck hit chance to restore % resources + Starless
HELLTIDES : I have only ever wondered if the Helltide chest icons could be more specific on the map.
Currently an armor, jewellery or weapon icon presents itself on the map and does make it bothersome for target farming. I would like to see individual icons for these chests on the map so I can plan my route accordingly and not waste time visiting chests that I have no interest to open.
Current:
Armor Icon - Could be gloves, helm , chest or legs
Jewellery Icon - Could be either ring or amulet
Weapon Icon - Could be 1 hand or 2 hand
Change:
Each slot item has it’s own identifying Icon the map.
Thank you very much for bringing attention to this, much appreciated!! <3
Yes {[Rod of Waka pipi*]}** Needs mythic status, able to be equipped by all classes except rogue and paladin [for obvious reasons]
***Players note - This is just a suggestion to further improve class balance.
@iggi
I’d like to add as well a request for further customization options, body types, etc.
Reference:
***Players additional note - This is reference to an inside joke, though I do sometimes go outside
Blizzard for the love of Rathmama, please collab with Carbot animations for emotes in the game sometime in the future!!
Haha, it would be cool to see if they turning Rod of K into mythic status i personally wouldn’t mind it though. But it does have a requirement in which you need to find ways to offset the resource drain. Kiss and curse. I think Mythic items should not have kiss and curse mechanic though,. the item should just be straight up godly given how rare they are.
what actions will be taken against duping and rmt?
when will we see an ingame trading market?
how do you see tempering and masterworking going forward?
will runes become as interesting as they were in d2 (this includes crafting with gem fragments)?
will we see reworks of the classes so they have the same level of skill interactions like SB?
why is VOH only half an expansion (no actual end boss, mephisto)? (Campaign was truly a disaster in writing and plot, it really really sucked hard)
d4 has been in a bad place since launch with a lot of negative feedback (rightfully so), what will the d4 team do to make this game worthy of the Diablo name? Define a clear vision, strategy, planned changes and timeline. D4 bad meme is sadly true, how do you plan to take ownership?
my question would be similar to another persons. so they want us to make alts and feel the progression of alts better, but i, like a lot of people, want to complete my first character before i start an alt. so i havent even started an alt this season because i havent reached paragon 300. usually i have already got 5+ characters to max level and geared out. do they feel they accomplished their goal when it comes to alt play or are they taking another look at the grind to 300?
