What you think we will hear about, s5 ptr for sure, but what else?
Lol I’m hoping they slap barbs with the nerf bat.
Sorc and Druid huge buffs hopefully,

I would expect they’ll talk mainly about the features and system changes in S5, and little to none about class balance.
i dont think class balancing will be a big thing either, as we just had the mid season patch.
most likely s5 stuff, since theres going to be a ptr again, and eventually some more looks into the expansion =)
I think the PTR is going to bring something we’ve been waiting for. Something that needs thorough testing to get out any bugs and implement feedback on. Considering the fact they said they wouldn’t be doing a PTR for every season, only the ones that implemented bigger changes.
Now I have a guess as to what it will be. However I’m hesitant to say anything as I’d rather not start a rumor mill right now. That and I could be completely wrong.
Also before anyone asks, no I did not ask Adam directly. Even if I did, he wouldn’t have told me anything anyway.
Yep, I am guessing it’s something “big” as they needed to make a PTR for season 5, time will tell.
actually that suprised me as well, as they made very clear for s4 that ptrs wont be a regular thing and only be done when there are “big” changes.
Hopefully it isn’t season of the “Armory”
That one wasn’t my guess, but I hope not too. My guess has to do with something they sent out a survey for within the past couple months.
Whatever question they want to answer from Iggi.
I think you may be reading too much into it. The last PTR did not really result in better balance or good changes. This thing is a “show”, the illusion of engagement.
The last PTR was all about testing the new itemization changes though. Had nothing to do with balance, just making sure the systems worked and how people felt about them in general. That’s typically how most Blizzard PTRs go unless there is an obvious bug making a build too powerful.
D3 was very similar with its PTRs. They’d tweak a few numbers here or there, but for the most part they wanted people to find the bugs and test out new systems. Granted it took them forever to fix monk allys, but still.
Now you could be right, I could be completely wrong and I’ll gladly admit I was wrong when the time comes. Let’s just say I have a hunch for the moment, but I definitely wouldn’t bet on my hunch.
Hoping for something to look forward to in the expansion. So far, complete disinterest.
I am good not getting excited about it. I can wait.
I did find this earlier and it rolled decent tempers. So I guess it was a better day.

I’d be surprised if it’s anything other than season 5 talk. Aren’t they going to hold another chat for the expansion later in time? I remember them mentioning one for the Spiritborn class.
Next month there will be a VoH campfire chat. Think it will be about the Spirit Born… but my guess is much more, they will try to sell VoH.
In theory this campfire chat might be good if the devs feel like S4 was a success. That’s why I’m hoping to see a bit more enthusiasm than usual, but I expect them to disappoint us nevertheless.
I hope they seem happy and excited that a lot of players have come back for what they did for Season 04. And it will be an even better Season in 05.
That would be the best news so far to announce.
Just a couple of more hours and we will know
I’m really hoping for something for people who prefer D1 or D2 as their Diablo experience. I understand this isn’t very popular, but D3 is about the opposite experience I want in an ARPG and they seem to be leaning very heavily into making this more like D3. Things like forced co-op and the absolutely awful looking mercenaries they’ve teased don’t lend me much hope for the future of the game. To be clear: glad others enjoy the D3 experience. It’s just not for me.
