What stops you from having that target , reaching T4 and beating that content?
GA gear? You can target farm it from MULTIPLE activities.
Leveling? Easier than ever.
Uniques? Easier than ever with even better target farming and buffed chances.
Mythics? Now costs 2 sparks.
They legit bend the knee to the super casuals, as expected and anyone that can play 14 hours per week, or 2 per day, will be done in a month. Again.
So what is your excuse?
T4 is attached to character power. And character power has been turned into a piece of cake chase to make casuals happy.
So player power will absolutely not be the reason you cant make it to T4. Neither the time investment, presentation showed target farming multiple ancestrals PER ACTIVITY CLEAR. You should be geared to the bone in a few hours.
Please. Explain.
A reward should be attached to the pinnacle content, otherwise why bother? No?
Or somehow we should only have targets for 2hr/week forum yappers?
They add one thing that will require 20hours of investment and we are already losing our minds?
So the true question is: Why are you people even playing games at this point if you cant afford 10 hours a month from your time to play said games? If you cant then set your expectations right and clear that content on your holidays or when you finally get more free time.
I mean whats the main purpose of playing an ARPG?..Farm loot for better gear, so we can face certain challanges (higher difficulties, darker Dungeons, bigger Bosses, etc…).
If the game offers 0 challanges at the end of the journey, whats the point of farming better gear in endgame?..To half hit 99% of the content instead of 1-hit?
Same with other games…In my childhood I was able to fall down a rope in Tomb Raider f.e. if I wasn’t careful, nowdays everything is so trivialized that you can hit your head against the keyboard and still beat the game. ^^
With the mentality: We don’t count goals and everyone should get a prize.
Why isn’t it allowed to have a “highest difficulty” in the game that makes ALL Content challaning (from outer world up to Uber Bosses)…content that entertains and gives a reason to farm further even after 100ts of hours.
And don’t get me wrong, at some point we should be also able to 1-hit blast through the highest difficulty but it should require some effort and very very good gear…not with above avarage gear and after 2-3 days in a new season like in D3 and also in the current D4 state (In a game with 3 month season periods btw).
Same could be asked of you, Since you seem to have a problem with how other people feel about the game. You seem to have a flair with being melodramatic and I’m sure you think you are right.
My point about the melodrama.
So two months to get one thing? Again more melodrama.
Melodramatic is basically the perfect description for every casuals post crying for everything being handed over.
2 months timeframe with 2 hours per week? Yeah its fine. Otherwise if someone plays 8 hours in a weekend it means the seasons is pretty much done for the next 3 months.
If you can only play 8 hours per month you should set your expectations right where they belong.
If you cant do math or cant bring a proper argument in a conversation other than suggaring tags, like melodramatic, when the topic is inconvenient to you, you should better keep those fingers away from the keyboard.
Now you are making assumptions about me. What you define as a proper argument is nothing more the belittling people you disagree with. I keep it civil, So i wont entertain you with your version of a proper argument. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Not disagreeing with the tone…but Ancestral Uniques may be the hardest to find (based on PTR I know drop rates will chage some)…so if your build uses a bunch of uniques, you will want to get these before considering T4.
This remains true with the current patch.
Getting decent GA uniques is much harder than getting regular mythics.
GA uniques are the bane of S5 since all builds are locked behind 2-3 mythics and 2-5 uniques leaving the legendary loot chase to rot. Andariels is the only meta build this season that does not fall in this trap.
I’m not crying about it but class balance is part of the problem and always has been. Unless playing meta builds stuff is a slog to impossible. Especially if you have bad luck with gear. If they balanced classes/interclasses appropriately then they could actually balance the world instead of nerfing it so that more people who choose not to play busted meta builds could succeed.
Yeah Ive seen it. The casual clickers want to clear all content playing 2 hours a week. Ironically it will take their whole allotted weekly play time to do one raid nobody asked for. Will be only a matter of time before mythic gear is the new legendary, free flowing and falling from the skies to make them happy
I think they should just revert back to their old process, nerf ASAP instead of waiting for a season to end.
When you let folks get used to it, I don’t blame these players when they start asking for it. It’s like getting addicted to something and taking it away.
Does it really need 2 or 3 months to know BL and LS were too OP?
Oh I know why they didn’t nerf BL immediately. It was because they badly communicated what patch 1.1.0 would do in game (they admitted these when they made that 2-3 campfire chat. They had a gloomy aura back then) and that set a major desperate D4 atmosphere at that time. The subpar S1. The sudden surprisingly good S2 along with BL. Blizz had no choice but to keep the fun.
Or I guess it should be the other way around? Players should expect OP builds will be nerfed to the ground next season.
That is all you have to add to the conversation? Attacking others without giving reason as to why you got to this conclusion? Thats way too 2024. You can do better. You dont like a take? Try to counter it. Simply name calling is the classic “i know i am wrong but i cant argue back so let me get in the offence”. Poor lad.
If they make the game really hard to appease the hardcore players, then casuals will quit because there is nothing for them to do. If they remove all of the hard content so that casual players can complete everything, then hardcore players will leave out of boredom. If they give the same reward for harder challenges, then the incentive for doing it is removed.
Like it or not the best way for casual players and hardcore players exist in the same game long term is to have easier base game for casual players and higher difficulty higher reward options for the hardcore players.
The current solution where all content is accessible in multiple difficulty levels and all items are available in all difficulty levels and the frequency of rewards is the only advantage to the highest tier, is by far the smartest and most fair solution I have come across in a very long history of gaming.
If everyone could look at this in context of the whole community and the health of the game and just put aside “What I Want!” for a second, I think we could mostly agree the difficulty tiers is actually a pretty damn good approach to this long-standing problem.
Agree with all the above. IMO the best games are the ones that are easy to pick up and play, but difficult to master. Blizzard was at its best when they designed their games with this philosophy. For far too long Blizzard has missed the mark on that last part. They’ve made their games easier and easier to the point that there is no more sense of accomplishment. Having T1 drop all the gear you need while increasing drop chance for T2-T4 is as perfect at balancing that act as you can get. If you don’t want a challenge, stay on T1 and farm until you get everything you need to defeat all content in the game. For those that want a challenge, you can increase the Torment level and get higher chance of drops.
I disagree with the Eternal Nerf from 100 to 50 just to make us re-level to 60.
I feel that they could have just reset our eternal charaters to 60 and allowed all of our Legacy gear to become max Legendary, even if not Ancestral. The move of all legacy gear to 550 ensures that 5 seasons worth of gear are trash. My Season 1 Druid is weak but still playable, my Season 3 Necro, same, I enjoyed each season, and revisit my Eternal Characters. They are ALL going to be completely obliterated.
So what is your excuse for applauding the destruction of a Realm, that you do not even play? I like the difficultly offered in Seasons. Many of you CRY about the way OTHERS want to play, and that seems so petty to me.
Did i miss something? what does the eternal issue have to do with whether there should be difficulty tiers and what the rewards for them should/ shouldn’t be?
