At least footage of a banana has actual value. We can all infer that the footage of the banana would hype people up to insane degree in anticipation for Donkey Kong Bananzaâs release.

Sadly this is not true. Social media only accounts for a very small % of the gaming community. It does give an unreliable indicator regarding the direction of player sentiment but is in no way indicative of the bigger picture.
