- Use a build the is already established to work.
(while balance issues are addressed)
- Push the story early on, get your mount ASAP.
(this will help a ton with altar/waypoint acquisition)
- Play on normal difficulty til you are level 50, then switch to veteran, till you complete the story.
(this will alow you to level up a bit slower, but get alot more loot in the process, for more salv and sell, which you will need post 50)
- Dont waste resources upgrading items to the max level till you are 70+
(everything you find will be replaced before ya know it)
- Use any of the available diablo 4 interactive maps.
(this makes over world navigation and management much easier)
- Collect all the Lillith altars for each zone, as you pass through them.
(all altar stat bonuses are shared across all chars)
- Collect all the waypoints on the map.
(this will pay off when you want to get to the nearest world boss)
- Show up for every world boss you have access too, regardless of your level.
(you will want the prisms later)
- Do not add sockets to any items till you are 60-70+
(you dont want to waste your prisms on trash items)
- Don’t waste obols on keys or weapons.
(unless you have extreme excess or literally need nothing else)

One last thing, unbind the shop key, and pretend it does not exist.

What are these keys u talk about and i will never buy anything from the shop even if the items were pay to win. I mean i never buy digital pixels from the shop. Bad enough they have delux them now ultimate game sales which yes i got the ultimate cause i will get my 100 dollars worth from the game time i plan playing forbthe next 5 years. .
Will do play 1 or 2 seasons a year.
Keys to open silent chests, at the bottom of the obols merchent list.
(obols are earned by clearing events, dungeons, bosses, quests)

Obol = greek for coin, or something.
Sh!t i was wondering how to open them. I spend my odols when i am full on gloves or amys to get the aspects.
Why not the keys?
I have purchased about 100 keys (since EAB1), and only got about a dozen legendaries.
You have far better odds of getting legendaries and such from gambling straight items.
My advice is save your money, ask for a refund, wait for them to fix their game and for it to go on sale.

Game has issues butbit isnfun to play. Yes after 50 it gets grindy but its still fun to play.

I have played thousands of games, for 10s of thousands of hours, every game is a grind. People who dont like repetition should probably not play most games that exist, including board games. The only exception may actually be DnD… lol

I mean I tediously completed the Final Fantasy 10 (FFX) Sphere grid for every character over like 500+ hours. LOL so the grinding in games isn’t nothing new to me

Whats best to gamble with odols? I have to spend some of them from time to time when at full.
gloves/boots unless you absolutely do not need them, then go for w/e your lowest level item is, that is also cheapest obols. (imo)

You need a lot of them to get any thing good.
But you get plenty if you run around doing events during helltide.
I’d just say, use them on whichever slot you feel like you need an upgrade on
almost every time i spend obols I get something good, either new gear, or an aspect i want to save, or salv i need.
