I this final seasonal quest item I want to do, because I’m a completionist. However, I haven’t had any luck finding 5 helltide commanders in one helltide. It is my understanding only the tornado bound prisoners, event and the helltide portal event can spawn them. I tried 3 times last night and there were not 5 of those events in any helltide.
Any tips for completing this?
If there is a “wrong event” do you need to complete that so that it clears and creates a new event that might be the right one?
You just need to search out the events. The bosses are random. Took me a couple days to complete.
The bosses you get are random. Here’s a trick to reset Events. Find the Event that can spawn the bosses. Complete the Event. Then port to town. Jump back into the portal from town. The Event should reset. And (sometimes) it’ll be the summoning Event.

Ok, finally got it done this helltide. Lots of running back and forth and town portaling. Got the soudeh’s staunchest ally achievement for 100% season completion.

Damn I thought so. iirc they didn’t add the wording they did to the 10x chests lol.
That’s a bit much tbh.
Solo it’s shut xplay off and ride like mad to events hoping they spawn.
Group I could see being 1000% easier to achieve.

Yes, I got 4 in one Helltide, and thought “oh look, just one more next Helltide”, but of course no credit when I did the next in a seperate one.
The TP method is the best. What happens in-game is that you finish the event, portal, the join another server in town. When you return, you have a chance at a fresh event instead of waiting for it - and you’re already at a location where you know the event can potentially spawn.

Ah thats why i failed. I thought every helltide zone had 1 commander. So i thought i had to kill one commander in 5 different helltides. Was surprised already why it was bugged. (But its not)
Honestly, 5 in the same helltide is pretty absurd. But that explains why I never got it.

It seems be quite inconsistent - TP and reset. I know it used to be somewhat consistent way back.
Does manually TP to another Region Help?
I’ll just call up Helltides and cycle those red circles. (I used to know most of the spawns but my brain dumped a lot of this games data with my extended break from it).
Yes! I tp to town (hotkey), then take the waypoint elsewhere (to treelala).
Then I hop in my portal back to Helltide. Two-step process, but I’m 80% in another layer. Seems more consistent that way.

But it’s five different ones, right? I was missing this one for awhile too but thought I finally killed the one with the right name.
Based on what it says yes. I didn’t keep track of the names just assumed I would get eventually by doing the commander events.
correct there r 4 total bosses from the helltide events and then the helltide assassin. i had 4 of the bosses for over a week and then finally got the 5th boss in a helltide the 2nd week so i 100% completed the journey.
