Minion aotd Necro is getting supercharged so this won’t be a problem at all. Gonna be really good. I just like it better than the other specs anyway.

This incoming nerf (and highly expected Sorc buffs) is why you don’t make these tier lists before the patch notes are announced.

I’ve never taken tier lists seriously. Also why I made my parody tier list before the expansion hit. We still don’t have the new patch note they’ll release just before S7 launches.
Not to mention we have no idea what will be broken when the patch hits. Give it a few days and people will figure out the next broken build that can solo Pit 150 easily.

Oh there’s nothing wrong with it, I just take all tier lists with a grain of salt, regardless if they were made on the forums or by some random streamer who lives and breathes the game. I typically only play 1 to 2 classes per season myself, sometimes 3.
For S6 I played Necro, SB and Rogue actually. I don’t really touch Barb, Druid or Sorc, so I’d have no idea where they would even sit in terms of balancing. They usually don’t interest me enough nor do I have the time to play all classes during a particular season.
For the sake of your original post though, I’ll just say Necromancers will reign supreme because they’re my favorite class. So I’m putting them at Z rank.

Generally with tier lists you want to see ones made by top players & you want to see multiple top players. It gives you sort of a consensus on what’s strong and what’s not by people who really know the game.
Anywho. I play Minion Necro and it is indeed very strong for Pit pushing although I have to admit I’ve been half-@–ing it up to now in t50. The fact that you can do that with minions is pretty nutty though, ngl.
Tier lists from reputable sites have been pretty accurate in my experience. I’m not even going to bother with this next season until I see where Barbs land on the scale of things and whether or not they fix the GA drops for ancestrals. Season 6 was far too ‘meh’ for me to bother with the next otherwise.
The problem is, it is not a minion necro. It’s another ultimate skill spaming build. You could sacrifice the minions to make AotD an even better build. Not much of a minion build where you minions are unnecceary novelty, instead of being the primary damage dealer. We allready asked the devs in the necro forum, to make the shift in power and scale the endgame damage of the minions up. Not haveing my hopes up about it though.
For all around (leveling, farming, bossing) I would go with SpiritBorne and Druid on top. Pit push, no idea. Hard to guess which class they will break this time. Necro was super strong on PTR but have to see if they nerf the crap out of it or let it be the flavor of the season.
minion necro is supposed to be op too next season. I don’t normally play necro but I’m excited to try it.

Ill play Barb/Rogue regardless of Meta, and will run whatever build I decide to cook up.
As long as I xan get to T4, and push to around 100 pit I’ll see that as a success.

Don’t call that AotD spamming garbage a minion necro. Your actuall minions worth nothing it that build. They are dead weight, you could sacrifice them and feel even more powerfull. No. In a minion build your minions should be the big damage dealers.
