So my inventory was full while I had to close my reward from the tree of whispers. I press the button “close” and from that moment on “all tree of whispers” actions and events are disabled. The tree is dead, the poles with the crows do not respond. Restarted game, no effect.
I read, this bug has been around for a while, sad it hasn’t been fixed. I think I’ll wait buying vessels of hatred until this gets fixed.
I am also having this issue. My graphics card driver crashed when I was handing in a whisper and now i am locked out as well.
Is somebody at Blizzard going to fix my character?

What should work. Delete character and start all over. This bug however is nasty. There is a systemic component, where D4 servers have a code bug, that flags “tree of whispers has been done” after either opening and closing, but doesn’t remove the whispers. Other parts of the game seem to verify the number of whispers and disable events because you have the maximum amount. Both are stored in the players data. Quick fix. Either set the flag to false or change the code to detect this and fix it on the fly.
